Wedding Decoration
Too much silver?

Our wedding colors are silver and blue. But now I fear there is way too much silver everywhere. The groomsmen will wear silver vests and the bridesmaids will have silver dresses and their flowers will have blue accents. The hall decor will have silver satin chair covers, silver napkins and silver table cloths. The back drop will be sheer white with silver accents. The center pieces will be tall silver candelabras with white flowers with blue accents. The whole room will have blue uplighting all around.

So, is this too much silver? Or will the blue uplighitng compensate? Should I have napkins be blue to add some color?

Noooo it will look beautiful. Those are my colors as well Turquoise blue & sliver with white accents you can never have too much silver its not as flashy as gold its more elegant, I say go for it.

Well....If you are using a variance of silver/grey tones then its not too much.  I would make sure the girls dresses and the linens are not the same exact color.  I DON'T THINK YOU WANT YOUR BRIDESMAIDS LOOKING LIKE A TABLE CLOTH and it looks nicer to have some type of contrast.  Why  not incorporate the blue for the linens since the bridal party is wearing the Silver?  Just a thought good luck :)
