This is 01armywifey01's Chocolate Wedding!

Since my husband and I are already married, just doing a renewal of vows since we got married in the court house, we never had a reception or got any cards in the mail so I was wonder would people bring cards or gifts this time around? Should I do a card box or no? I'm guessing no gifts since we already have a home and three kids but not so sure about the cards? What are all the rules with renewing your vows? Thank you all so much for the help!

How many of you are buying your wedding party attendants dresses? Are you buying just the bridesmaids or are you providing everything including flower girls and ushers?
I have seen a few wedding where everyone in the wedding had to buy their own attire but they could chose what ever dress they wanted as long as it was the wedding colors any one doing this?

So the brown and blue are set in stone now as the main colors but the pink is just not working out with the two.

I think that the green goes better with the two colors. I do love pink but it just isn't working out for me.

Chocolate and the main
Blue as the second
Green for hints of added color

I promise I won't change it again!

I have so many ideas on what i want to do and how I want my dream wedding to be and have no idea how to pick one! First we wanted to do something fun like holly wood glamor/ top hats type of wedding reception, my husband wants chocolate and blue for the colors I wanted to do red and black with lots of rose petals and candles, something romantic breezy feeling and simple maybe in a garden or in a tent, He wants a church wedding and hates dancing lol. Please let me know how you all figured out what type of wedding you were doing thanks!

I'm going to post pretty much all my ideas including cakes and such here just so I'm not posting 900 times :)

Is any one doing their own food and if so what types of food?

I don't want a full meal, but I don't want just nuts and mints either. I'm not sure what types of food to serve. Any help would be great!

How old is to old for a flower girl?

How young is to young for a jr bridesmaid?

I have a 6 year old that will be 8 at the time of our wedding I'm not sure where to put her in the wedding also my son will be 6 is he to old to be a ring bearer?

Any one have really little one's in their wedding? My youngest one is going to be two and I'm not sure if he will make it down the aisle!


I want all three of mine children to be in the wedding and really feel like they are a huge part of the wedding.

Has anyone paired up the ring boy's and flower girls? I thought about doing that to make sure the younger ones got down the aisle.

Thanks for the help ladies! I am going to check into a wagon for my youngest not sure if the church will allow us to use a wagon or not.

So I am going to pair up the others tho.

Sierra ( my little girl going to be 8) will pull the wagon or at least help her little brother down the aisle so she will really be helping me out

Matthew ( my son will be 6) will walk with my sister who will also be 6

I am thinking of adding my husbands siblings in also

His sister (will also be 6) and his brother ( will be 9 or 10 )

Now i have to find a place for my five brothers!

Our parents did foster care and that's how we ended up with the younger siblings.


I think I will have my two older brothers who will be 17 at the wedding as groomsmen

But that still leaves me with a 3 brothers ( 16, 13, and 11 ) any ideas would be great for them...

My sister will be my maid of honor and that covers all our siblings!

Here's a few photos of the dresses I like for the flower girls. I know the brown and the blue are the main colors so the pink will just be used lightly through out the wedding.

I do not want to wear a white dress, want something different but not to crazy. I may change my mind once I start to try them on! I'll be adding more photos as I find them

I am really leaning toward having our wedding at the eberly farm (I've posted a photo of it) Thing is I really wanted to do red and black or maybe brown and pink, does the red and black work at a location like this? Also my husband, yes I am already married 7 years now, we are planning the date on April 16th our 10 year anny, ( we got married in the court house and I have always dreamed of a real wedding ) he really wants brown and blue could I add pink to that with out being ugly? I want to include him as much as I can in all the planning. Any help would be great I am so lost right now with colors. Thanks everyone.
