DIY Wedding

Reception seat chairs:)

I have always like the idea to put a flower for each guest at the back of the seat chair... Here in Italy it is not a common thing to do,tho...

I knew that If I wanted to have something like this at our wedding, I had to go and look for silk/ artificial flowers( I don't like the idea of having real roses that will definately die within hours).
It is something that the guests can take home as for the favors and menu... something that makes you remember of your wedding throught the years....

So, last Sunday Mirco and I went to a big outside market that is held every Sunday in a village not too far from where we live...
There, I found some wonderful orange roses that looked like real, I fell in love with them, but I feared they could cost too much.
When the lady told me that each bouquet was sold for 5 euros and each bouquet held about 20 roses, I gosped... With 20 euros I could realize my dream... oh goodness:)
Well, I definately bought four bouquets for a total amount of 82 roses... Plus, If I need more, I can always go there and find some other roses...
I thought I still had a hard job trying to glue the rose to another green stick I had bought at Ikea... well, I found out that each rose can be taken off the bouquet stick without any efforts... and by the final pict you can see the result...

What do you girls think?

Oh yes, the lady charged 17 €... we saved up additional 3 €!!!!

I am sooooo happy to see our dream coming true:)
