Wedding Dress For Sale - Pictures on profile
So I actually called off my wedding 6 months before we were suppose to get married (long story, it was for the better). So, I never wore my dress and now not only do I not want the same one for when I do get married, but I've also lost 40lbs and it not longer fits! (Yes ladies, weight watchers is WONDERFUL!) I'm wanting $600 for everything (dress, bra, slip, veil, tiarra, travel bag), but am willing to take other offers as well. For all the details on the dress go to my profile and look at the Wedding Dress post. It's a size 12 and has been kept in the bag in a smoke free home. Wedding Dress
It's now becoming reality!
So until today I knew I was getting married but it didn't really feel like it. Now that my dress is hanging on my closet door, IT'S REALITY! I'm so excited and I LOVE my dress!!!
David's Bridal was a hit for me. I was there for 2 hours and got the dress of my dreams. I actually had 2 dresses that I loved but finally chose ONE. It was a tough dicision and I couldn't have done it on my own. Thanks Punky and Debbie!  WHAT WAS THE COST??? VERY REASONABLE!!! DRESS $549 (599-50 for sale) TOTAL FOR EVERYTHING $883 (dress, slip, corset bra, veil, dress travel bag) I found their prices very reasonable compared to other places I've been. |

HELP!!! Bridesmaid Trouble
How to unask someone to be a BM???
So I chose my BM's a long time ago. BIG NO NO!!!
I've decided that there is one bridesmaid that I really don't want to be in my wedding. We were best of friends my junior year in HS which was her senior year. After she left for college we still stayed friends we just didn't have time to talk as much. She made some really bad choices in college and changed a lot. Then she came back home. We started talking a little more again and I was so excited. When she was prego I took her to the doctor and had her a baby shower. I'm her son's godmother. I was her MOH this summer in her wedding. So it would seem like there isn't a problem right!?! WRONG! I haven't talked to her at all since halloween. It seems like she only calls me when she needs me and well since the last time I told her "no" about something (which was also the first time), she's quit showing up. I don't see her coming to any of the wedding events, and she'll probably want me to pay for everything. I would love to be able to buy my BM's everything, but let's face it, money is tight. I know she's busy with the baby and everything but even her family says she uses them. She's changed so much and there is part of me that is very disgusted with her. I just DON'T want her to be a BM but I don't know how to tell her. I still love her and don't want to hurt her feelings, although it probably wouldn't matter, it's not like I see her. But I'm a very big-hearted person. There is another girl that I just met this year. She is super sweet and we've become really good friends. She's always offering to help with the wedding and house and doesn't use me. I really want her to be a BM. PLEASE HELP!!! |

Just some info.... David's Bridal is having a sale now through the 19th. I have an appointment tomorrow, YAY! My maid-of-honor and my adopted mom are going :) So excited!!!
I'll post and let you know what kind of deals they have. But I do know from experience with some of my friends who have went there, that you NEED an APPOINTMENT! You can still look without one, but they don't help you as well with trying on and stuff. Wish me Luck! |

My Maid of Honor
IS ENGAGED! YAY!!!
So on Christmas my Sister/cousin/bestfriend/ex-roomie/co-snooper/partner-in-crime/Maid-Of-Honor, Tiffany,
 got ENGAGED!!! Her ring is beautiful. She's very petite but I'm pretty sure her ring is gonna increase the muscles in her left arm :)  I'm so excited for her and her sweetie, Aaron! They are so cute!  They are planning on getting married in May of 2010, which is very exciting because it's only 7 months after mine and Justin's wedding! (Although her mom doesn't like the thought of both of us moving out so close together) ;) Now I can talk wedding with her without feeling like I'm annoying her with all my planning. You ladies know how it is, you don't wanna feel like all you wanna talk about is your wedding, but lets face it... our brains are on a one-way track - WEDDING PLANNING! CONGRATS PUNKY AND AARON!!! I'm so excited for you both! Punky, I love you and don't know how I would have made it through rough times without you. I'm so glad we're gonna get to go through some of our wedding experiences together! Here's to the good, the great, the awesome, and hopefully not too much bad and ugly! |

I've finished my bouquet and I've put together all the bridesmaids bouquets, but haven't ribboned all of them. I think I'm just going to buy a cheap one to throw. I bought everything to make the bouquets at different times when they were 50% off!!!! I'm very excited about how they've turned out, especially mine!

I was really worried about how our pictures were going to turn out because Justin HATES having his picture taken, but I LOVE them. (Or at least half of them :))) Our photographer (Karen McDonald) did a WONDERFUL job and I am so pleased!!!
Now the hard part.... Which ones to get??? I got a 4x6 in color and in black and white of all 68, but I'm only posting some of my fav.... hopefully you ladies can help me narrow it down to the best!!! |

DIY "Will you be my BM" Gift
So I finally completed my first DIY project. It all started with the idea of bridal party responsibility cards.
I made each BM and my MOH a card. I simply designed it in Window's Word, then printed it off on cardstock. I then went to Wal Mart and got envelopes and decorated each one. For my "responsibility cards," I made a Handy Dandy BM/MOH Booky. ;) It's simply some index cards with different info such as: their responsibilities; care for their Tshrits; a card saying if they don't want to do it to let me know now; 3 months before the wedding calendars; two blank pages for notes/info; and the other BM's numbers - along with mine and the groom's. Originally I had designed a shirt at designashirt.com (which have the best prices I've found on the internet). But for you brides with some extra time, wanting to save some money, I ended up spenind $7.20 on each shirt in total. I bought the shirts for $4 at Micheals and then bought Iron on transfers from Walmart and made them on the computer. I've very excited about the gifts, and I think the girls really liked them. |

Justin and I both decided we wanted a fall, outdoor wedding. The color scheme is orange, apple red, and cream- with little hints of camo here and there for the FH. We are so excited and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together!
