Ask a Question
In loving Memory of Jordan Langley.
Justin's younger brother was killed in a car wreck December 11th, 2006, 7 days before his 17th birthday. I've been trying to think of a unique way to honor Jordan and have just about decided on this candle, which I found for a pretty good price. Jordan would have been the best man, so I thought about having the candle sit on a column symmetrical to where the unity ceremony will take place, and have the maid of honor place a boutonniere beside it, and the best man light the candle upon their enterance. Any other unique ideas?

The picture loaded in a funny color.

I'm doing this in memory of my brother too.  I will have it at the sign in table with it lit up and a boutinier by it too.  I never thought about having it set up in the church - I will have to think about that one.

My only idea would be a prayer or a reading of some sort but that may be to sad and emotional.  Maybe you can do something quirky at the reception like play his favorite upbeat song and have the DJ or Band dedicate it to his memory.  He would be smiling down on his brother that day.  I just wanted to say that I think the candle is a very sweet idea. Best of luck to you and your future husband.

I think that is a wonderful way to honor your FH's brother, I am sure he will be missing him very much that day.
