Got the limo!!
I'm so excited after looking at 3 different companies I was able to get a great deal on an escalade limo!! Holds 20, but for weddings they say 18/16. which is great because at the most we would have 15 in the limo at one time. it also includes champain for everyone in the bridal party after the ceremony and red carpet treatment if weather permits!! but the best part we get it all day for $1,000. this of course is compared to the $996 price the other companies said for only 5 hours. Sooo excited!! Now the limo can take us to the hair salon in the morning and take both all the guys and then all the girls to the church!! I'm putting the limo driver to work trust me!! lol
other then that I have the invite wording done pretty much, just have to go over it with my invite lady. Plus the guys tuxs are picked out and they are starting to get measured!! so yay!!! to dos: meet with linen lady, book hotel rooms for guests, and figureout the honeymoon!! |

Just wondering girls.....not sure where to go! I want somewhere warm adn topical! I ahve info on Costa rica and Puna cana. Secrets royal puna cana and Riu Guanacaste costa rica....both are all inclusive!! but i'm wondering if we should get info on Jamaica....seems very reasonably priced...could even go to sandals. But what sandal's resort is best?

Wow I'm finally back girls!!!
So since December things have been a litle crazy, but i'm still kickin'!! What has been the biggest time cruncher has been studying for NCLEX (nursing Broads)! And I passed!!!!! So you are now looking at Sarah S********, RN!!!! enough about that! how about a little catch-up!
So the Guest list situation finally got fixed, our list is now 265!!! This is much better than 320!! There might be a few more friends that get invited, but most likely not. And because of that last tuesday I sent out the Save the Dates!! our guests love them!! Have the hair salon picked-out!! so excited about that! they will be providing pasteries, juice, and fruit that morning in our own private room!! Very nice staff and building! Working on limo..... it seems that for 5 hours for a 18-20 person escalade (spelling might be wrong) that $800-$900 is the average in the area. I think I know which one i'm going with, but i want to see the limos first! We have a photobooth!! so excited!!! it's was made possible because my sister/moh is helping pay for it (very very nice of her)!! it's for 6 hours, and will include a very decorated book for guests to sign!! I believe I have the invite picked out too!! will show pictures of that as soon as i can!! But have to still work on the written part. FH and I started our dance classes!!! sooo much fun, but very expensive......not sure how many we will take, but FH is learning a lot!! and enjoying himself at the same time (very important!!) As working on tuxs.....I believe we are going with President tux...we looked at them and men's warehouse......men's warehouse was cheaper, but presidents looked so much better......i'm hoping to convince FH to go with presidents! Also after MUCH Drama, my BMs have their shoes and ordered their dresses!!!!! mostly the drama has come from my aunt, because my cousin is a bridesmaid and because she is a little mentally slow. my aunt controls everything! I still dont know exactly what shoes my cousin bought, because my cousin cant remember and my aunt has them under lock and key.....not joking.........and of course i give the girls a month and 1/2 to get their measurements...and my aunt/cousin does it the last day. well atleast its done!! now to just figureout what hairstyle will work with all of them.....ahhhh!! lol also signedup and payed for our marriage class, which will be april 29th. I'll tell you all about that when that is done! Also trying to figureout honeymoon.....will make another post about that!! |

Guest list issues........
So great news first!! Save the Dates came in and they look great!!! I have one posted as promissed!! Other great news my fabric swatch for the girls came in and i will be getting it today!! which means tomorrow i can narrow down invites and i can work on the whole linen thing soon!!
Now for the part where i SCREAM!! so i got the FMIL's guest list last night. mind you i have been asking for it for atleast 6 months now!!! so i got it and i noticed she put the number of people invited per address and their names as asked, but there was no total.....as i counted it before i left.......120 PEOPLE!! this is much different from the 70-80 people she has been guessing all along!!! at first i just laughed and told her that this is much different than 70 and that i told her she knew more people then she realized.......so now instead of the 265 that we thought we were inviting.....our list is 320 (this includes all guests and 2 photographers and 1 videographer we must feed). I could just scream!!! she said they could eliminate people (which she will have to) , but i had to call my parents and tell them they must also eliminate people.....atleast 20 each, wich will make the count 280....i might tell them 25 each....make it 270.....mind you our Hall fits 260......AAAHHHH and i was planning on getting a photobooth, which takes up space!! And mind you the more people at the reception means more at the shower. my mom already ordered the invites based off the 30 people FMIL said she would invite....and all favors have also been bought........which are all things you cant just go online and order more of.........i'm sure this will all be taken care of but still...... on top of that FMIL keeps finding these cheap invites online that she thinks i should get for the wedding.....even after i have told her i already know where im getting mine and they are 25% off...... o yeah and i guess stamps are now 45 cents as of yesterday so i was late and had to pay more...... |

more whats new!!
so today the Save the dates come in and i found out stamps are going up next month....so i'm going to be buy our stamps now; atleast for the save the dates, wedding shower, shower thank yous, rsvp cards for wedding and thank yous for wedding.......i'm worried that the weight of our invite might make the forever stamp not good enough......but i'll have to ask that when i get there
also plan on calling a photobooth place once i know what they say. then i will know what place i will go with (and favors will be done!!!) last night was fun!! FMIL had these cute heart bags that will have the favor for the shower in them. favors are a nail file, shower gel, and either a nail kit or sewing kit!! will take pictures of them soon!! plus one person at every table will get a holiday basket full of decorations for a certain holiday!!! this is all getting so exciting!! so the shower theme is hearts, which goes with the invites too!! didnt get the list, but i will tonight!!! plus my mom's |

what i've been up to..
And i'm back!! anyways i love living with FH the only problem to i dont want him to see this blog. so i wont be coming on here very much. But here is what is new wedding wise.
i have been looking through invites!! my florist has 10 books of invites and i have narrowed it down to 11 invites, so far....lol. when i get my fabric sample for the bridesmaids' i will narrow it down more!! And will post a pictures once i narrow it down to my top 5. FH and i will be tasting cake this thursday!! very excited to share this with him; seeing that i'm doing most of the planning. :-) i'm finally getting my guest list together.....dont get me started on that issue... my girls' are in the process of getting measure....gave them until Feb. 29th to get it done. just found out my FMIL and my FH think we should have save the dates....which i wasnt going to do, because i didnt think it was needed.........so now they are coming in from sam's club....thank God for fast delivery!! so much more to do!!! i feel so behind....well i must go to my FMIL's i guess she has bags for me (not sure what for). plus FH said get the list..... tah tah for now.... |

wow it has been so long!!
This is what i've been up to!
wow it has been so long since i've been on here!! so how are you ladies? how was your Christmas and new years? mine was really good!! I finished my nursing program. next month i take my state boards and hopefully soon i will have a job in nursing!!
What else is new? I am now living with my FH in what will officiallly be my home once we are married!! I love living with him!! Before we only saw each other on the weekends and now i get to see him every day! :-D FH is up from nap....more later!! |

Got my Shoes. What do you think? And do you think i should bling the heel?
So i did a little Christmas shopping for myself today :-D Haven't bought myself something in two year, since i started my nursing program. Also i finished my nursing program, so it's time to focus on the wedding!! This is a picture of my shoes Revona!! I love them because they look like Badgley Mischka Humbie. the big difference is mine, the renova, has a smaller heel and the heel on mine is silver and not the same fabric as the rest of the shoe. Oh and Badgley Mischka is $200. where mine was only $80.
I love that the heel is smaller!! and they sparkle so much in even dim light!!! So what do you think? also my friend has a blinging machine and could bling up the heels. do yuo think i should bling the heel or leave it? Thanks!! As of know i'm keeping them, but i was told i could return them if i change my mind. |

Our wedding colors are a darker red (not apple, but closer to a dark crimson, maybe maroon). At least thats what I'm hoping for!!
