Krysta is the woman who makes your cake or cupcakes or other tasty treats you may desire. She is doing our cake for the wedding and also doing cupcakes for our rehearsal dinner.

She is AWESOME and makes GORGEOUS creations. I cannot tell you my cake yet (not til after the wedding), but trust me it's the most customized cake I have ever seen and still at a great price.

I had the most amazing proposal experience ever.
Here's our story...

Derek and I had tickets for the last Bryan Adams concert here in Ottawa that was August 12th, 2009. Note that Bryan Adams is my all time favourite music artist and has been since I was a little girl. Derek and my song is "All For Love" - so anyway Derek, understands my love!!

So we didn't know what to do for dinner and Derek surprised me going to Baton Rouge downtown before the concert. Dinner was incredible!!
Next, we headed to the National Art Center (NAC) where I would get to watch Bryan Adams LIVE!!! I was super psyched of course!!

Little did I know we were going to be sitting FRONT ROW!!! And even less did I know that before the concert I would meet Bryan Adams in person, have my picture taken with him, get a free CD to get signed, and have drinks with him before the show!!!

As if this wasn't enough, after drooling through the concert in extreme bliss, during the last song "All For Love" (our song) which was played in the second encore right before the end of the concert, Derek wrapped his arms around me and asked if I was happy...He told me he needed me to be happy forever and always so he could "Kiss me any time he wants" (My favourite line from the movie Sweet Home Alabama). Then he said "Will you marry me?"
I was completely surprised and swept off my feet.

I still don't know how Derek arranged all of this but as you can see he is an AWESOME catch!!!

This day is going to be a day to remember...We have so much planned and so many exciting surprises for our guests...After the wedding I can share more details but I can't in case my guests see and read my blog before the big day!!!
