We went to the Parkland Mall and done save the dates for our guest. This was really fun!!

This is the Moravian Church behind my grandmother's house. It's the smallest, oldest church in town.

I wish I had photos of the inside to share. Kinda rustic and romantic.

You really now the downfalls of coming from a small town when you are planning a wedding. Thank God, I don’t live home anymore. But as it turns out I am having my wedding home.

As it turns out there is only one photographer in my town and I hear he isn’t too hot.

Me and my partner really want quality photos. Hence, that means bringing in a photographer from outside. I am from the Canada’s north.

Girls, can you please share some quotes with me on what’s a reasonable price for a quality photographer? Much appreciated.

My cousin is getting married August 9th. I'm the MOH. My measurements went to the dress maker on Thursday.

Here is the dress for the bridesmaids. Mine isn't complete as I was trying to loose as much weight before the wedding as possible. She is starting mine today if not Monday.

I really, really like the colour and style my cousin has chosen for her girls.

I was thinking Slice Network but checked and they don't play that show.

My cousin is getting married and I am her MOH.

This is the dress, and the dress will be made with the taffeda blue material shown.

I am in need of a clutch purse, but don't know what color clutch purse I should buy-Black? Silver? Blue?

BTW: My shoes will likely be black with rhinestones or silver with rhinestones. I have 2 pairs but haven't decided yet. More concerned with the clutch purse for now :)

I've noticed that lots of brides to be have posted on the subject of weight loss.

I've been on Weight Watchers since January 31 and have lost 30.3 pounds to date.

I was 213.8 pounds when I started the program. I am still overweight and at my half way point (roughly). I still have 33.5 pounds to loose before I get to 150-which is my minimum goal weight. I plan on not stopping there.



I was loosing weight fast in the beginning, the weight has started to come off more slower, but I am o.k. with that as long as I am loosing.

I have had good days and bad. It's o.k. to have a bad day here and there, but the thing is, is not to let that bad day ruin yourweek. Recognize and change the behavior. Discipline is key!

Make sure you get in your exercise too!

I see people positing save the date items, what is it? Is it a card stating that you're going to get an invitation? An invitation to an invitation?

While some brides have greenback or gift registry, I am curious to know how many brides are having a greenback or gift registry?

I am also curious about your viewpionts in regards to this matter. Please share them.

I was at a wedding in Jasper last summer and my friend has this is his favor....I thought it was AWESOME....

So I just got engaged a few days ago.

So I got one of my best friends to do the E-photos, yesterday...She has a good camera.

I am going to get a "Professional" to do them in the winter again, so that I can have winter invatations with our winter photo.

Also, I want to loose A LOT of weight for this winter for the engagement photos.

I am not in denial I am overweight and have weight to loose for the wedding. I have to date, lost 26 pounds (my cousin is getting married this summer and I am standing so weight watchers I joined)...YAH!!!

My fiance got me Canadian diamond. It's beauty is complimented by the fact that it is a conflict free diamond :)
