Bachelorette Party!
It was a blast!!!!!

Seven of my closer girlfriends and I went out to New Orleans this past weekend for my bachelorette party! It was such a great time and we really did have a ton of luck on our side. We left Saturday morning and stayed at the St. Pierre hotel, which consisted of several original homes turned into a hotel. We got two suites that opened up to each other....which basically was our own house for the night! We explored the French Quarter a bit and had a great lunch. We made reservations at a restaurant names Muriel's (super fancy!). We later went back to the hotel for pregaming and a quick game of "Never have I ever" poolside before getting ready for the night out.

The girls all wore black dresses and I wore a hot pink dress. We all wore matching hot pink bowties and were by far the classiest Bachelorette party I have seen! We took lots of before pictures and had dinner at Muriel's at 8:00pm. We then hit up Bourbon street for a night on the town.

I had a bouquet of Blow pops and we sold them for $1. The money went towards the bachelorette party fund and was a great way that we got to meet people. (PS- we made $60 on $3 worth of blow-pops!!!)
We met a wonderful transvestite (sp?) named Ashley who is apparently "the queen of bourbon street". We loved her lecture on being the HBIC (Head Bitch in Charge).

We were interviewed by aoltravel.com.....and will be in an advertisement in the fall.....Fun!

We hit up some great bars and got wonderful drinks. New Orleans has so many live bands....it was incredible! None of us really got that drunk because we were just having so much fun dancing and hanging out. I totally recommend it!!!

We finished the night by buying some flip flops and heading back to the hotel. A few of us went for a late night swim (courtesy of the security guard).

We all had a great breakfast in the morning at a cafe across the street from cafe du monde. We shopped in the open air market for a bit before half the group headed out at noon. The remaining four of us hit up cafe du monde and a bit more shopping.

A special thanks to Lauren, Taylor, Lisa, Jackie O. (My little sis), Jackie R. (My sister in Law to be), Leah and Bri for an awesome time and showing me such fun! I can't wait until the next bachelorette party......who's next????!!!!!
