Wedding Invitation
Invitation input needed!
Well I took my white cardstock to kinkos to have them print my invitations and a toner glitch ruined them all. While I was upset I must admit they did a great job trying to correct it (they reimbursed me for my cardstock that I got from cardsandpockets.com and are doing the reprint free of charge). However now I have OPTIONS... thats all i need as a bride, more options... so please help
I have copied in my invitations in white, however I'm thinking about changing the white to a white metallic (called crystal) or I could also have a crystal metallic invitation and on the right side of the pocket fold alternate silver metallic (also the color of the invitation) and crystal metallic. HELP! I also have a bunch of flatback crystals that I was going to put on my wedding topper, however the topper is so beautiful on it's own the crystals arent needed, so i want to add them to my monogram on the invitation, but should i add one or two crystals and the light or dark red? Input please!!! |

Shoes and other updates
Ordered my Sophia Camille dress in diamond white... dress shop threw in 20% off as well, score!
Started my bridesmaids order for the Jordan dress, overall I chose the Cherry color as the silver dress was prone to shoe & flower color issues. I didn't want to give the girls red flowers with the silver dresses as EVERYONE from Ohio would just think Ohio State, really I picked the colors b/c I loved Red Roses and my middle name is Rose after my grandmother. Setup the florist - cream & pink roses for me, red for the girls Ordered the save the dates and they are magnificent! Can't wait to send them out. Ordered wedding shoes (will double as shoes for one of my MOH's weddings that I'm in July 17th) they are fabulous! |

Wedding Dress
I won a wedding dress!?
So Running of the Brides in Columbus is Friday, and although I've picked out my dress, but not yet ordered it, I decided weeks ago to go with just my mother and a friend of the family. Just to browse and see if there was anything for me ya know? So I got this email this morning that I won a free dress at the event!! So pretty much they give me a gift certificate worth $249 for a dress at the event, how sweet is that!?
So now there's pressure, and with a small possy joining me I'm worried I won't find a perfect dress, but I'm very anxious... going to be a loong week! Wish me luck I'll post pictures! |

I'm hoping to make a decision the weekend of the 16th when I take 3 of my 5 girls into the store, but I'm down to 2 options for bridesmaid dresses.
Bill Levkoff 284 Jordan (Jordan collection) 854 Levkoff is the red dress with xcross on it Jordan is the grey dress. But then I am now thinking instead of putting the maids in Red, putting them in Platinum. Has anyone put their bridesmaids in silver before, how does it look? I think the silver with the red flowers in their boquets would be really cute |

DIY Wedding
Save the Date is done!
I designed the save the dates! This one was especially hard for me because when I started I had NO IDEA what I wanted.
Also half way through completing these I realized the wedding website url I had created on the knot had a misspelling (in my own last name grrr) so I had to make a new one on mywedding.com as you can't change your url on the knot. oops The only thing I'm thinking about changing is adding our middle/last names to the back were it says Jarod & Amanda... thoughts? |

So I used directions i found on how to make a map from my ceremony (downtown Columbus) to my reception (about 20 miles away). Thoughts on the finished product?

Wedding Hair Style
My hairpiece is in!
My comb has a long story to it. I met a bride online a few months back that wanted to order a comb but it cost too much so she solicited for someone to agree to purchasing it from her after her March wedding if she ordered it. I loved the piece and went for it.
She finally recieved it and it's beautiful! I attached the pictures she sent me and I think I'm going to wear it vertically with half my hair up and in curls. I'm just hoping it looks okay with blonde hair! I know it shows up better with dark hair, but i wanted something other than a tierra (i have a big head and think they look funny on me). thoughts? |
