Bridesmaids' Dresses??
I was talking to my parents about what kind of bridesmaids dresses I wanted for my girls. I told them 'as long as they are the same color I don't really care about anything else."
I know that none of my ladies are going to pick the same dress (given the choice) and at least one is going to pick a floor length dress and the rest may pick something short or tea-style. My parents insist that styles don't matter as much as length. All my bridesmaids should have the same length of dress if I wanted my pictures to look nice. What do you think?? If I only want the same color, should I worry about the same style or the same length?? Does it really matter?? |

Outside With Dogs
We've decided to have an outdoor wedding. Tampa has some great outdoor venues, but we are really looking for a place that allows dogs.
We love our hound dog, Anya, and she's really like our child. So instead of having a ring bearer (mostly because neither of our families have any little boys) we are going to have a ring dog! Because we want our dog in the ceremony, I also want her at the reception. So we are trying to find places that will allow her 'off-leash' for the reception, or at least at the reception. Hopefully, at least one of these places we are looking at will understand and be accommodating. I know it's a tall order, but wish me luck! |

Our Wedding Bands!
My FH is a real big gamer. He loves all the classics and we have almost every game system available. I figured he's going to have to wear his ring for the rest of his life, so I got him something he loved!
His band has the invincibility star from the Mario series and he can't wait to wear it!! I know it's not traditional, but this is way more his style. My engagement ring was made from one of my aunt's rings and my band is from my great-grandmother. It was her wedding band. |

The Proposal
Adam and I had dated in high school, but lost touch after our break up because we went to different schools.
I found him on Facebook and we now have been dating for 2 years, and have barely been apart since. We live together in the same house with our dog and had talked about getting married 'one day.' The day of our second anniversary, I went to school (as usual), and he set up a romantic picnic on our roof. I came home to him on the roof, telling me I needed to come up there. "It's important," he said. Well, I took my time and finally made my way to the backyard and up the ladder. He was waiting for me and helped me, then got on his knee. I cried right away and I couldn't be happier!! |
