The Proposal

Hiya to all the beautiful WCB brides out there!!! I have been watching some of your posts and girls you are absolutely amazing!! This is my first blog and I will try my hardest to keep up... First I will tell you a bit about myself.. I am 41 and a Registered Nurse at a hospital and I specialize in Neurosurgeries. Scott is a Deputy Sheriff at the courthouse. We will have been together for 10 years next August when we get married. I have four grown children, a girl who is 25 and three boys who are 22, 20 and 19. I also have a 18month old grandson Kyden who happens to mine and Scott's pride and joy!! They are all from a previous marriage. My first wedding I was 16 and let me tell you it was a disaster!!! I had bridesmaids in pink and in orange and groomsmen in all different colors of blue and a slab cake that melted in the back of someones station wagon in the heat!! So for me, although its my second wedding, its really my first, I have never been engaged, never planned my dream wedding and never thought this day would come!!! I am sooooo freakin excited!! Even more so now that I get the oppurtunity to draw ideas from all of you incredibly talented, creative beautiful brides out there.

Scott proposed on August 16th of this year and did it with our grandson, basically we were all crying including the baby and I think he was more so because he couldnt figure out why we were so he thought he would join in.

this is my dream wedding to the man of my dreams and I am hoping for it to be all about Elegance and fun. Thank you ladies for all your inspiration out there!! I hope i get to meet some friends along the way!!
