8 days until I get married. I have been so busy with the planning that I forgot that it was ME that was getting married. I can't belive in a week I will be a married women. I have learned so much through the process of planning my own wedding, I am so excited! When I first started this journey I was so concerned about all the details now all I care about is us saying "I do" what a great day. Good luck to all the future brides out there, remember to enjoy the planning and always remember the outcome is worth it!

I am needing to pick a place to register. Any favorites out there? And any place I need to avoid? Let me know ladies.

I saw on other girls blogs the cute white victoria secret hoodie that said "sexy little bride" loved the idea. But didn't want to spend the money on it if I was only going to wear it once. Today I found the deal of the day. I went to the mall and found an entire white sweat suit on clearance for $12.00. Then went to the fabric store and found jeweled iron ons for $2.00. I am so excited to make my little outfit so I can wear it to get ready on the wedding day and to lounge around Las Vegas on our honeymoon. PERFECT!!

Yesterday me and my mom set out to find a dress. We started early thinking it was going to be an all day ordeal. I was ready with names of Bridal stores from A-Z. I called the first one and told them the dress I was looking for they said to come in they had something similar. First store, first dress and it was the one!!! So exciting it was everything I had wanted; lace, a maggie sottero dress, ivory and in my price range oh and it fits me perfectly besides I am going to add sleaves. YEAH!!! After that we were at a loss of what to do seeing as now our day had opened up. We decided to go look for shoes and my mom a dress. What a day, we ended up finding my mom the perfect dress as well. She looks great in it and will fit great with the theme of the wedding. Then we both got matching shoes. I love these days!!!

Ok I need to come to terms that I have really DIFFERENT taste. Everything I look at is not available. The dress I want is non existant. When I mention my colors to people they give me a look of confusion and when I show people my ring I get this look of oh that's nice. I don't know where this idea i have in my head comes from for my wedding. I've never thought of myself as a fashion icon or anything but i didn;t think it was so far off either. Funny how things work out. Well right now more frustrating.

We have finally decided on a honeymoon destination..... VEGAS!!! YEAH I love the place and my fh has only been there once so it will be great to show him around. We will stay for 5 days, see all the sites, feast on all the buffets, gamble our money, and be blissfully happily in love as a newly wed couple. Can't wait!!

I have read on other girls blogs about not being able to sleep well I am there with you. No longer am I able to sleep or for that matter do anything but wedding plan. My mind has clicked over and is stuck in one frame of mind. WEDDING!! I love the planning and the details but enough is enough a girl needs her rest already.

I am on dress overload. When I first started I had a clear idea of what I wanted for a dress now that I have tried on so many and loved so many I don't know what I want any more. I would love some feedback on which dress you like the best.
They are almost the same dress but the first one is a bit more fancy, more sparkles the 2 just an all over lace.

Yes I am back on track. Things are back to moving smoothly and I am able to enjoy the planning of the wedding. After all it is only once I will get to do this. I have finally found the place where we are going to be married and I fell in love with it the moment I saw it, they had one day available and it just happened to be the one I wanted. PERFECT! Now I feel like I can move on to more details, like the dress and such. Today was a good day.

The worst day ever!!! I need to have my ring fixed, don't have a place to get married, and on top of that another wbc bride called me tacky. I have never been married before and I'm trying to do the best planning I can. But it doesn't seem to be going so smoothly.
From now on only leave advice if you are nice. I don't need added stress to my planning.

I have cruised a few website looking for shoes and not been able to find anything I like. Well tonight I logged on and on the homepage was an advertisement for these shoes. I LOVE them. They even come in the right color. YEAH!!

I need help with my honeymoon. I am thinking a cruise, neither one of us have been on one so I need help on which cruise line to choose and where? Please let me know.

Yesterday I went shopping for an engagement party dress. I was looking for a white dress and came across two that I really like now my question is; we are having a casual bbq for our party is the dress too fancy?? I want to stand out but not look over dressed. Help!! The first pic is of the party dress and the 2 of a dress I just loved and thought "just in case" it would be nice to have it on hand. What s your opinions.

I knew it was bound to happen. Things were just going way too smoothly. I am trying to remember that problems are part of planning but wouldn't it be nice if it all could just work out.
1- my ring from the day I got it have had problems with it. 2 Diamonds have fallen out, they sized it wrong, designed it wrong. It hasn't been a good experience. Yesterday I went over there and thank goodness they were finally willing to help they said they could either replace the diamond, re-build the entire ring from scratch or I could pick out a whole new ring. Yesterday I was too stressed to make up my mind but now what do I do??
2-I have no where to get married. I want a cozy little cabin but the problem with that is all are too small for the guest I am inviting. It is getting down to the wire and I need to book a place.

Next week I am throwing a small, casual engagment party. I have food figured out but don't have an activity. What do I need for entertainment? Any Ideas??

For my reception I want to do a dessert bar not a candy bar. Cheesecakes, cakes, cookies, tarts all sorts of delicious treats. I don't know what to serve to drink. I am not having alcohol but still want something fancy. Any suggestions.
With all those desserts we really don't want another cake. So I think we will just have a small top tier so we can at least cut into a cake.

I think I have figured out what I want to do for my guest book. I'm not really into scrapbooking but love pictures. I want to remember everyone at my wedding but don't see myself going through a book of names very often. What about mixing the two, pictures and signatures. You can order books off shutterfly, kmart or walmart. Pick out pictues of us and then have guest sign the book. It will make a perfect coffee table book. Another thing down.

This is the dress and suit I love. I am thinking about putting him, me and the flower girls in champange/ivory and then the rest of the men in black. What do you think. Also I don't want a reception line(this might just be a utah thing?) but I want my family to stand out at the reception. Any ideas?? Meet and greet, mingle but somewhat organized?? I don't know. What are you doing at your reception??

I am going to have my 3 neices be my flower girls and my soon to be step son to be the ring bearer. They are 3-5 years old. I want to give them a gift that they can always have. I have come up with two. I need an opinion on which I should give. Or if you have an idea please share.
1- silver bracelet with their name engraved
2- jewerly box with their name engraved (can come in other shapes)

I am so excited. When we first started planning I really wanted to get married at Sundance resort. It is up Provo Canyon and so beautiful. It seemed like the perfect fit. As we got more into the details we realized that our "budget" was pretty small and we would have to get creative. Pretty much scratching Sundance off for sure. Well my sister gave me an idea to get on www.vrbo.com. It is a site that homeowners rent their homes. Anyway I was able to get on and find a beautiful cabin that will be perfect for both the ceremony and reception at half the price. I love getting good deals especially when they are just what I am looking for.

So this is the second time we have been engaged, I like to complicate things. But I am surprised how smoothly things are going this time around. Venues are setting up, picking a date was easy, all my ideas are just flowing. I know my colors; champange and ivory. I have my ring. Already picked out his ring. Everyday I do a little and it is actually exciting not too stressful. 2nd time is a charm I guess. I am glad it is working out this way seeing as I only have 77days to plan AAHHHH!

The story of us. Well it is pretty long and drawn out so I will give the nut shell version. We met when we were 14 and became best friends and stayed that way through high school. Then I went to college and we managed to stay in contact over the years. Eventually we went out seperate ways and fell out of touch for 3years. I ended up moving back to my home town and we found each other again. Since that day we have been inseparable. That was a year and half ago. Our relationship is more than I could ever dream of. I think sometimes, "Really, he was here the whole time." It is funny how love works.
