What Color "White" Are You Wearing?

So I Was Googling Dresses Tonight To See What Styles I Like Before My Dress Appointment On The 20th And Ive Noticed That There Are 100s Of Shades Of White Out There. Im Really Liking The Light Shade Of Pink Ones The Best. The Ones That Are So Light That You Have To Do A Double Take And Ask Yourself " Is That Dress White Or Pink? "

So I Was Wondering, How Many Of You Are Wearing A Color Other Then White? I Know Some Cultures Wear Red And Some People Wear Ivory Or Off White For Second Weddings. What Made You Choose Your Dress Shade?

I Got This Off Yahoo Answers And Thought A Little Bit Of Folklore About These Colors Might Be Fun! Hope Its Not True If I Do Decide On The Blush Shade. Lol! Enjoy!!!

I bought an ivory gown. I tried on a pinky toned dress (actually champagne) and I looked ghastly in it! It was an instant 'no'. So you need to see the shades of white on your skin to know if it will work for you.

One colour I didn't expect to like (but which seriously loved on me) was OYSTER. It's too hard to explain sorry! But it's nice!

I'm in ivory. The dress I liked was in ivory so that's what I got. Didn't really ask myself that question.

I love love light pink dresses. I'd definitely do it for a vow renewal!

I love the little poem!  I bought the pure white dress, but that is because it is one of my colors and if I were to wear a different color white next to my partially white linens I would look dirty.  That is how I picked my color.  My amazing fiance also got me an amazing necklace that is colored and it looked great against pure white not against anything that had a tint of color, but I do love the pinky tint!  I look forward to seeing what you try!

as far as im concerned its just white lol. My dress came in ivory and white so yea hahaha... i might have to double check

Ugh... I just read this post. My dress is white, just white. LOL
But, it's white with red! Does that mean I wish myself dead? Oh no.... maybe the red was a bad idea :)
Seriously though, I didn't know there were so many shades of white. Wow

im wearing ivory and it is my first wedding. i find that you have to go with your skin tone. like a crisp white dress would not look good on some who has really fair skin. you would go a shade off of white. you just need to keep in mind your skin tone.

I went with the whitest of white so that it totally pops when people see me from a distance and it makes me look extra tan.  =)

I wore a red dress.  I loved it and still do!  My husband was so ecstatic that I picked red.  I wouldn't change anything about it.  Go with a color that best suits you!  :-)   I remember looking at the white dresses and thinking--this just doesn't match me...I don't want a white dress.  Then I came across my red dress and that was all she wrote.  I had to have it.  I went on a massive search looking for a place that had the dress so I could try it on.

I went with Ivory because pure whites made me look pasty, ha ha. Even if you are unsure of a dress, Try it On Anyway! You may be pleasently suprised!
