Wedding Reception - Children's Activity Bags - ABSTRACTEYES's Pink Wedding by Color Blog

Since we'll likely be having a lot of kids at our wedding, I'm thinking that it would be a nice touch to have little activity bags at the reception for the kids to play with. Nothing too out of control. I'm thinking we'll probably just get all of the supplies at the dollar store. Stickers, books, coloring books, crayons, etc.

Have any other brides here done something along these lines? how did it turn out? What kinds of things did you put in them? Did you just make gender neutral bags or male/female ones?

I am doing this idea as well! I wish I could find bags like in the photo :)

I plan to put children's name on the bags and the bags will be for kids ages 3-9 or 10

we are also having alot of kids about 3 or 4 tables mainly family and a few friends kids so we are geting favor boxes for them filled also with stuff from the dollar store for the younger kids stuff like stickers, mini colouring books/crayons, bubbles,small toys puzzles and for the older kids stuff like word search pads,comics, pack of cards, dominos, glow bracelets and necklace, also a disposible camera with a scavangers hunt . Th kids table will also have fruit kabobs as thier center pieces, i was going to make candy ones but really do i need a buch of hyper kids running around, prolly not lol!

I was JUST at a wedding that had some gift bags! They made a coloring book and had taken one of there engagement pictures and turned them into a coloring page for the front! Then they had wedding themed stuff all throughout the book :D
