I found this idea from the wedding I have posted below of Joanna & Eric. It is a message board for the happy couple. Joanna had index cards laid out on the tables at her reception for guest to give congratulations or marriage advice...I chose funny marriage advice.
I was Office Max and found this damask message board and black & white table number cards. The cards are formatted so you may print them. I think I may put some saying on the black front part and to leave plenty of room on the back for our guest to write. After leaving their message, we will encourage them to put them on the board. I also purchased pens to layout with the cards. I'm thinking not everyone will have a pen on them since they will be dressed up. |

Damask Shadow Box
Here is my engagement shadow box. I included our engagement memoribilla. I have the box my ring came in, engagement pictures, a picture of the night we got engaged, our newspaper announcement, and our save the date.
I got the shadow box and black velvet damask background paper-scrapbook paper from Hobby Lobby. The engagement embellishments and silver frame are from the Dollar Store. I plan on also making one for our wedding day. I think it'll be a nice way to display our special moments. |

Bridesmaids
My lovely ladies...
Last week I was able to get all the ladies fitted in their dresses. We only have two that need their shoulders taken in and shoes for the junior bride. I took their bouquets with us so I could get an overall idea. The feathers that are in the bouquets will also be used as accessories in their hair.
I had a little trouble deciding on what to do for the Matron of Honor, Amber. My junior bridesmaid, Brooke, will be my future daughter so I had her dress done in purple. I feel like I need to do something special for Amber to signify she has a special role. I thought maybe changing her dress to purple too, Scott thought Bedazzle it-very funny, and Melissa, future sister and bridesmaid, suggested adding something to her waist. I agree with option numero tres. Since my dress and Brooke's dresses have the embellishment on the waist I thought adding some kind of rhinestone brooch would be perfect. |

I am going to use to of the white bundles for my bridal bouquet and just one of the purple for each of my bridesmaids.
