I'm hoping some of you can help me i'm looking for the perfect song for the parent dance. we are having the mother son father daughter dance together and i can't find a song that is gender neutral.

I was sufing around trying to find a place to buy a fairly inexpensive monogram and what i found is truly awesome!!! I found a step by stop video of someone making a monogram on windows powerpoint!!

This experience....one of the worst so far!!!

We went in to the local "suit" shops when you live in a small town there really is only on place to go and my FH wouldn't go into the city to the wearhouse. So we picked out the one he wanted ....or he did (without actually looking at others) we went down to the local shop ON GRAD night oh that was a mistake! we waited for 3hrs i think before we could try anything on and when we got to our turn i was told ONE TRY ON PER PERSON!!! AFTER WAITING 3HOURS I'M NOT A FRICKEN GRADUATE AHHHHH!!! So i oh so calmly stuffed the bridezilla back in side my self and proceeded on. The jacket is way to big but at least we get to see what it looks like together.........our colors are pink and brown but my FH refuses to wear brown so this is my alternative. The BM is wearing the same everything so i'm going to have to think of something else to make my FH stand out. His take on that is .....if the people coming don't know i'm the groom then maybe they shouldn't come.........is anyone else's FH just not getting the whole WEDDING thing??

oh and i got my FH little wrench cuff links to go with the suit they are really cute and i got them off ebaay for 5.00!

pretty self explanitory this is what inspired me

We are doing a donation to an organization close to both our hearts. PARS (Prairie animal rescues) it's a no kill organization and rescues animals from bad situations. They are run here by a local constible and he was telling me that lots of times he would go to a call out of domestic abuse and take the women or children out of the home but lots of times the dogs or animals were jut left behind. it's very sad they have a very high adoption rate and are run by volunteers so we have chosen that in honor of our guests. we are donating between 3-5.00 per guest and we have about 120 guests.

we are going to make up just a little card with something like this:

in honor of our guests we have made a donation to PARS.

I have a pair of beautiful earrings given to me by my nana they were her grandmothers earrings absolutly beautiful and dating back to the 20's they are truly timeless! they are unfortunatly broken and just broke in one little place.......i was so upset and was hoping to wear them on my wedding day. I brought them to a local jewler in my hometown to ask if they could be fixed. the young girl behind the counter took them out of my hand and said they were cosume jewlery........with out even looking them over! I found that horrible rude and hurt they according to her can not be fixed. i aksed how she could tell so QUICKLY that they were not real gold or silver. and she said because they are usually stamped.........my question IS JEWLERY FROM THE 20'S ACTUALLY STAMPED TO TELL IF THEY ARE REAL GOLD? I think it is a little harsh and hard to believe. but hopefully it will turn out that i am right * fingers crossed*

I was finding it very difficut to find the veil i wanted so i have found a custom veil maker and will have one made the way i wanted! i just couldn't believe that i can't find the one i want. It will look exactly like this one which is a silk chiffon on a cathedral length. no details just plain so shocked that there was nothing like it out there and trust me i looked!

my veil will cost about 300.00 dollars which is a lot more than what i wanted to spend but considering i got a steal on my dress at only 280.00 it's ok!

I found a florist that i absolutly loved and was so wonderful to talk with. Left the store with the instructions that she was going to call me with a quote on the bouquet and centerpieces i wanted.........after 1 week no call! So i called her and was told that she knew she wouldn't be able to do it that week and would work on it the week coming up.......After 3 weeks no call........so i called again this time no answer and no returned call.............after 4weeks i called again still no answer and no call back.........i'm now on week 6 and still nothing........with no intention of using her or giving her any kind of reference at all!! this is horrible!!

plus she was going to charge me 24 a stem for the real touch flowers i wanted. After looking on line i found the same flower in a better color for 8 dollars a stem!! Good thing i looked!
