Ask a Question
Outdoor Ceremony-Recorded Music/songs/DJ or acoustic guitarist-NEED ADVICE!
We are considering both and need advice-
We are leaning towards the live recorded music, because it can be more personal to pick songs that you want played, instead of someone playing an acoustic guitar that sounds pretty but most will not know teh songs being played???? Help!! Any and all advice. My only concern is that it will sound weird and hokey for our outdoor ceremony??!!!We have a wedding planner and she says it is just personal preference and not to worry about the music starting when it is supposed to that is what she is there for, but I am still not 100 % certain what to do and we need to make a decision very soon. |

Ask a Question
Sexy, yet comfortable wedding shoes-Do they exist?!!
Do they even exist??????
My dress is black & white (material is diamond white satin with black lace & some beading-see picture on my site). I am having a very hard time time finding the right shoe. I am open to different styles, but prefer something satin or lace and doesn't cost a small fortune. I have looked at a few wedge but they are hard to find in what I want. I want something sexy, edgy, yet still comfortable in black- the thought of standing in 4 inch heels all night does not excite me!! lol.... Ceremony is outdoors and reception indoors. ....PLEASE HELP LADIES!!!!!!!! |

The Proposal
First day of the rest of our lives <3
So in love......I am so excited to have met and fell in love with my best friend. The day I met Aaron I knew there would be something special between us, just was uncertain as to what that would be. He said he knew the very first day he met me I was what he had been searching and hoping for his entire life, sweet :) I on the other was open, but was a bit more of a skeptic, shall I say. We have both been married previouslly, I have 2 children and he has 1, I was married for 8 1/2 years and have been divorced the same amount of time, I thought I was completely content with my kids and my family and living my day to day life and I was, I was definantly happy and enjoyed life, but then he came along and I realized there was a part that was missing and didnt realize love could be this amazing. And to top it off....my family and my children love and adore him so very much. I could write forever and share our story , but I will try to wrap it up in a decent amount of space and time...lol
September 19, 2010, was the first day of the rest of our lives.......I had no idea that was to be the day he was going to ask me and my children to be his forever! He had things planned out, he told me he was going to training at the Fire College in Ocala (he is a Firefighter/EMT). So, I woke as normala nd started getting dressed, my mom asked me to go to a friend of her's for the day. As I was dressing my mom came in with the first of 5 letters he wrote to me. Aaron completely took me through our first day/date together and having someone special (family members) along the way at each different location handing me (another letter......there were 5 total that lead me down to the beach (my kids were with me the entire time, they watched me cry tears of excitement and joy and cried along with me) as I walked down to the beach...that was my last location he was standing....with written in the sand " will you marry me"? He was standing there with flowers and the ring...O....M....G......! Its was an AMAZING day I will never forget and the icing on the cake was Aaron knows how much my family means to me and how close I am to them, asking someone to marry you I imagine is nerve racking enough but to add to it he included them!! After he asked me and we were crying and laughing, I heard applause from behind me....HE HAD THEM THERE, MY FAMILY :) Now we have two more to add to our family...a new son and my very best friend, Aaron :) |
