FAVOURS
Wholesale Jelly bellies
so for my favours i had to order jelly beans and at the time it was way too expensive to order it from a canadian store so i looked online and ordered from bulkfoods.com which sold me the jelly beans at a wholesale price. any price you see below just double it and that would have been the retail cost. their shipping included the duty so i didnt have to worry about that. you can chose from all the original flavours.
and best of all it arrived in TWO DAYS! and i didnt pay for any extra shipping. for the bulk purchase of the beans and the jars i got at the dollar store the favours cost approximately 2.00 i ordered: Product Name: Jelly Bellys® Strawberry Cheesecake 1 pound Product Price: $8.76 Quantity: 2 Product Name: Jelly Belly® Chocolate Pudding 10 pounds Product Price: $54.10 Quantity: 1 Product Name: Jelly Belly® A&W Root Beer 5 pounds Product Price: $31.37 Quantity: 1 Product Name: Jelly Belly® A&W Root Beer 1 pound Product Price: $8.76 Quantity: 2 Product Name: Jelly Belly® Island Punch 10 pounds Product Price: $54.10 Quantity: 1 Product Name: Jelly Bellys® Strawberry Cheesecake 5 pounds Product Price: $31.37 Quantity: 1 SubTotal: $205.98 Shipping: $40.11(UPS Canada Standard) Grand Total: $246.09 US |

Wedding Dress
Fitting #1 - Beckers Bridal
i finally got the dress and tried it on at the dressing room on the danforth. then the next day i took it over to beckers bridal for my first fitting.
it went really well, they have to add a peice of crinoline, take in the hem and adjust the neckline as well as do the bustle, and put velcro in for the corset. its costing 422.88! thats like a dress in itself! this does also include any additional fittings as i will have to come back and do the second fitting and then they will press it. |

Wedding Cake
simple cake
i really only wanted a simple cake but im still trying to figure out what to fill it with.
my options are: chocolate hazelnut with raspberries or chocolate with strawberries carrot cake with walnut or coconut cream cheese butter cream filling vanilla cake with caramel filling dolce de luce update! i went with all three fillings! - each layer will be a different flavour with the top layer being saved for the freezer for the one year annivarsery ( though ive never understood why anyone would want to eat frozen year old cake...eh anyway its from francesca bakery on mccowan ave north of the 401. its costing roughly 600$ plus free delivery because it is so close to the hall. as well after we get the cake tasting and the final numbers for the wedding we will look into getting petite fours for the cake table from here as well. |

Card Box: DIY
Recycled Cardbox
I actually bought someones card box and added some ribbon. I found it off of craigslist or kijiji.ca searching under weddings.
I added the ribbon and decoupaged the bottom in brown tissue paper. ( i think the glue fumes may have gotten to me though ;P) i can either have it half way or fully closed depending on how many cards i have. ( its made out of a Mikasa Box) I just added the ribbon with hot glue only because i couldnt find the double sided tape that i got from putting up shrink wrap on my windows :p. I may add some really nice monogramed initials that i saw at the fabric store but we will see. I think a great idea is if you have one of those sewing machines that do initials; to do some in your fabric and then wrap your box in the fabric i think it would be a clean look. |

Martini Centerpiece
Crystal pearl soil and LED lights in Martini Glass
So my idea for the centerpeice has been somewhat evolving.
its basically a martini glass with flowers, lights and cool pearl thingies in it. i found a florist in brampton who will do the centerpeices for approximately 25-26 a table. all i have to do is provide her with the led lights and the pearl soil. i found the waterproof lights for approximately a 1$ each on ebay for 100 ( and thats cause i got 50 free - ebay) i got pink and uv purple and white (not shown) the pearl soil was also approximately 45 dollars for 28 packages including shipping - ebay the martini glasses and the roses are coming from the florist. let me know what you think .. ill post a mock up later |
