WBC Improvements
Do you notice any?
I am not sure if it's just me, but is anyone else noticing the site seems to be moving a little faster when clicking on others posts from the home page? I recently commented on a brides post last week about the lack of comments and also the vast decline in the bridal community in terms of support, posting, and commenting. I suggested that a big part of it had to do with the fact the WBC seems to be running terribly slow these days? Was anyone else experiencing this or was it just me? In the last week I have popped in a couple times since then to comment on blogs etc and noticed that it no longer takes 2 mins for the post to load, a minute for me to read/comment, and then another terribly long 2 minutes for the comment to actually post. If WBC somehow made changes or improvements to the site, than this is great news and certainly an improvement to encouraging brides to comment (even quickly if possible) more often. Most of us don't have the time to spend 5 minutes per post just to add a comment which leads me to believe that it just may be why there has been a lack of commenting in the first place. Hopefully this is the case and things start improving for you girls. I still do find that signing in takes what seems like light years before it actually logs me into my account? Anyone else finding this? If so, I hope WBC can also work on that issue too in hopes to keep this blogging community strong for you girls! Anyways, your feedback would be good - I know the WBC team tend to read in on posts (at least they have in the past) when it comes to suggestions about their site! |

Hey ladies, I know it has been forever since i've been on the blogging radar or even checked in to keep up - I am sure there are so many newly engaged brides and soon-to-be married brides this summer. Fortunately, I was reminded to check in on my WBC roots when I realized that my Etsy shop MON AMOUR BOUTIQUE birthday is just around the corner! Honestly it's hard to believe that it's been almost three years since our wedding and two years since being inspired to open my own wedding shop! I am happy to report that marriage is still lovely as ever, with little work and keeping things exciting you can look forward to the same! My shop is also doing well, and I am always pursuing more creative endeavours! You know the kind ... JACK OF ALL TARDES (so I like to think) BUT MASTER OF NONE lol I really don't know what got into me since the wedding, but i'm loving every bit of the newfound creativity and the entrepreneurial drive it's given me! I hope it does the same for you girls afterwards ;) As I did last year, I would LOVE to do another birthday blog giveaway with some FREE goodies from my shop to celebrate another year of business, and who better to share the giveaway with than a blog fully of brides planning their dream weddings! First comes LOVE then MARRIAGE ...

Hey lovelies, it's been a very long time since i've last been on to catch up with you all and get my wedding fix! I have been a busy little bee with both my Etsy wedding shop Mon Amour Boutique and now my newest addition to Etsy Mon Amour Bébe. You know how the saying goes ... "First comes LOVE, then comes MARRIAGE, then comes BABY in the baby carriage?" Well this inspired me as well as a girlfriend of mine who loved my boutonnieres and suggested I create headbands similar to my bouts, so I thought about it and yup, i've opened up a sister shop to my wedding shop Mon Amour Boutique since the two go hand-in-hand (sorta)! When you are super excited about something new all you want to do is SHARE SHARE SHARE your excitement and newest conquests, so I am hoping you guys will offer your support and stop by either Etsy to heart my shop and check things out AND/OR visit Mon Amour Bebe's Facebook Page at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mon-Amour-Bébe/317229844969406 to like the shop. This lovely applique comes packaged with of course the adorable pink "I Do" crystals, a instruction card on how exactly to add them flawlessly to your shoes, and a convenient photo op card that has a few shots as inspiration for you and your photographer to capture just like this shot above. There are also adorable matching grooms appliqués {"Me Too" and Help Me!"} cause we can't leave him out!
