WBC Color Changes?

I noticed today that WBC has made profile color changes to our pages. I must admit that I was really disappointed that they changed the old standard color pink to a hot/fuchsia pink. I guess it is good for brides doing hot pink for their weddings on a positive side of things.

I also noticed that the brown, blue, orange, red, and purple are also different after reading/checking out a few other brides pages.
The purple looks more like periwinkle blue to me and the brown isn't the greatest.

The yellow is kinda of an ugly mustard color and the black is now gray. What's up with that ?!?! Now I know they say people never like change ... but when it's and I hate to say this, but for the worse, yeah it is a bit hard to accept. WBC does an amazing job and I know many of us LOVE LOVE LOVE this site (maybe too much lol), but I really feel they downgraded a bit in the color/esthetic department.

Is it just me, or is anyone/everyone else not feeling the new color changes very much or wishing they had more selection for colors that more closely represented our weddings?

The colors on our profiles changed mostly. The uploader is  also slightly different but not a concern - just the colors are different.

sorry... just logged on and didnt see anything diff till I went to my page and then looked at others lol. Yea they changed the page colors hey! I dont know how I feel about it.. the pink is very bright and my blue is now very bright.. im a navy bride so doesnt reflect me haha. Its not the worst thing but change definitly takes getting used to. I dont understand why they changed it anyways. why fix something that isnt broken?

yeah, its weird now. my "black" wedding is now grey...but my colour isn't grey, it's black oh sigh. hope they fix it.

Yea, I noticed it too. The yellow is more like a mustard yellow or something. It went from being pretty to being plain ugly. It kinda killed the flow of my blog as far as the colors go.

I don't know, maybe the more girls that comment on the post saying we prefer the old colors better they may do something. I'll let the comments build and contact WBC on behalf of us girls tomorrow.

I made two posts early this afternoon & everything was still in its original state.  By four o'clock (EST) I had noticed the change, but thought maybe the site was having technical problems.  It is apparent that this is not a technical problem, & I too would like the colors to be restored to their original state.  I am having a BLACK wedding, not a GREY wedding!

I noticed the change, and thought it was my computer acting up, lol.. I'm glad I wasn't experiencing something like that, but I'm sad that all of us hate this new change, equally. :P
That being said, if they really want to change things, I wish they'd give us more options.. like you mentioned, the pink is now more fuchsia, the black is grey.. why not let us brides choose colours closer to our schemes? Navy/aqua/teal or pink/fuchsia/rose/etc. *sigh*.

I do not like them either! It is hard to tell what some wedding colors are, like black! Also, they do have a lot of colors, but I think they should add some: gold, silver or champagne? Just a thought.

I really hate it! most of the colors are too bright to see properly and it really hurts my eyes. if they used a more muted shade it wouldn't be so bad, but the white on the "tiffany" blue is just ridiculous and painful.

Im not gonna lie... i kinda like the new pink. I changed my too bright blue to the bright pink. Im a lover of hot pink tho so call me crazy. every other color sucks

I thought it was a glitch at first! like they were doing something else on the sight and it screwed with the colors.. but i'm pretty sure it's here to stay!

I am a "black" bride and I loved how it looked with my blog.. now it's GREY. WBC i love ya, just you need to change them back or like Aimee said, we pick our color cataogire and then go by shades of that color.. I think that would be cool.

anyone else notice that GREEN has not changed!?! I'm thinking about changing my color here so it looks NORMAL.

My words were getting cut off by the blue panel on the side of my page. I'm just glad they fixed that. But I can understand why some of you are upset. The Black, yellow, and Purple are the worst I think.

Yup, it's us, the WBC team!

Sorry for the surprised color change. Don't worry, it was only a test drive and we heard you. We will roll back to the previous version soon. :P

By the way, we have also launched a new photo upload tool, which is supposed to be better. We realize there're some small glitches now, but they'll soon be fixed!

Just to give you a heads up, we are working on updating the look of your profile page, soon you'll be able to pick your own color!
