This message is for Courtney who emailed me about my bad experience with Light in the Box. I had heard many great reviews which is why I ordered. I may order from them again someday but I will be very careful to make sure that it is there actual product shown in the picture and not a picture of another designer's dress that they plan on imitating.

The first picture is what was shown on the website, it was what I thought would arrive in the mail.

The second picture was of the colour swatch shown on the website

The remaining 2 pictures are of the actual product. Some of the major unexpected differences were the fabric, the flow of the dress and the bow... the advertised picture shows a dress that ties up in the back, the actual dress just had a fake bow (two triangles sewn on the back like angel wings, not an actual tie up!)

The sewing of the dress and the quality were great, just the overall look was not what I was expecting from the pictures.

Wow!  This makes me scared to order things online.  It's much different from the advertised picture.

That is a big dif isn't it?  IN color for sure.
Did you look at what kind of material it was to be made of?
I know that each material has a different hue depending on the material the gown is SUPPOSE to be made of.
Did they use the wrong MATERIAL?
It's still a really cute dress, color is wrong, but... cute dress!

I'm consdiering ordering from them so I'm just checkign out the reviews!
