This is ajam1228's Purple Wedding!

Just doing some thinking about where to have the honeymoon after my destination wedding in Cabo. Would it be more expensive to just have it at the same Cabo hotel, or to go somewhere else?

Part of me wants to go somewhere else to spice it up a little, but it would be pretty convenient to just stay where we are, plus the resort is very nice and it would be a good place to have a honeymoon. Maybe we'll go over to the sister resort (Pacifica)? I was looking at their beach beds and that's something I've always wanted to do.

I just don't know! Or should we go to an entirely different place? Cabo is very beautiful but what about hawaii or bora bora! haha. That would definitely be more expensive. I guess we'll just have to see how the budgeting goes. I guess I'm lucky to be having a destination wedding in Cabo in the first place. By the way I'm so excited!

Honestly, the reason I signed up with this site is because it's called "Wedding by Color" and I just love the fact that the site is focused on that! Purple is a color that has chosen ME, so I just had to use it as a theme color for my wedding. When I got down to the bottom of my profile and it asked me to choose my wedding color I got very excited.

So, I'm starting the planning and am slowly gathering purple ideas. I really love the purple decorations that I found (pictured) and may use that as a basis for my decorations. Also, isn't that cake gorgeous? I will probably have the orchids be more purple but that color is pretty perfect.

Okay, so the other really important thing besides purple is the location. I have always wanted a destination wedding in Cabo and have been looking at several locations. We've pretty much decided on Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. It's luxurious but not over the top, it has a beautiful secluded location, and some great wedding packages to choose from. I really want to add a lot of my own personal touches though so I don't know if I'll be using the packages. But hey, I might get stressed and those options would be good to make things easier. Who would have thought that me, Amanda James (soon to be Amanda Conway!), would be having a destination wedding in Cabo. It really is a dream come true.
