So, I am having a Maid AND Man of Honour - the Man of Honour is my best friend and cousin who I have grown up with since we were babies. We are only a couple of months apart in age and super close. I know this is totally not "traditional" and my fiancé's family isn't too fond of the idea, but I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. So, my question is how should my Man of Honour walk down the aisle? Should he come in last, kinda like one last surprise before I walk down the isle? Where should he stand? Beside my Maid of Honour, who is my best girl friend? I am open to any ideas :) My Man of Honour is totally a people person and is down for anything. He's awesome :)

I think He should wait at the alter already but on your side of the isle. :-)

im glad your not listening to anyone else and making this wedding your own in every special way! why doesn't he walk down with the maid of honor? if she is walking down with the best man, she can go in the middle of them both.if the best man is going to be at the alter with the groom already have her go down with your man of honor. There are so many ways!

Great question! I'm also having a man of honor, but FH is having his sister be his best woman. I've never thought about how they should walk down the aisle. I think last would be better!

Thanks for the all of these awesome ideas, girls!! I think the best man will be at the alter already and the girls will walk down alone, so maybe I will get my Man of Honour to walk down the aisle with my Maid of Honour. I think that would be great..two of my most favourite people together :)

A student of mine had a man of honour & he walked the maid of honour down the aisle & the other two brides maid walked down side by side instead of a long procession.
Equally her fiances sister was part of the grooms party, instead of a brides maid.
He wore the same suit as the grooms men, his waist coat & bow tie was the same fabric as the bridesmaids & she wore the same style as the bridesmaids, but fabric matched the groomsmen.
It was pretty spectacular.
