Bridesmaids
Dresses (Forever Yours) Style #77101
I found these dresses a long time ago and I believe their popularity have caused the price to go up. When I first saw them they were $44. I couldn't believe that, but now they are $98. The ribbon on the side will be a dark red (claret) color. I have not thought about the shoes nor the accessories. I'm preparing to go lok at the color combination soon before making this dress my final decision. This is a tedious job to complete. I'm stessed and if you look to your right you will see how many days I have until my wedding. Plenty of time???? No I don't. (See I knew what you were thinking)!!!! www.foreverbridals.com plenty of options with this company

Ask a Question
Entertainment
Besides music and dancing, what are some other ways to entertain your guests at a wedding reception? As you can tell from my other post, I am a Christian and I strongly believe that some types of music should not be included.

Ask a Question
Shoes
I have a very hard time with heels. No matter how comfortable they are, the longer I 'm in them the more they start hurting. I'm very short and I'm almost sure that my wedding dress will ending covering my feet. I was thinking that maybe I will replace my heels with stylish flip flops whenever, or if they begin to hurt. What do y'all think?

Wedding Colors
PURPLE and RED
This has got to be the most unsual color scheme ever because it is so hard to find people who have used these two colors for their wedding. It's even hard to find pictures with red and purple together. I'm still looking!!!! It's cool. I guess I will be the first to post pictures.

Wedding Flowers
This is the best bouquet that I have ever seen that will best fit my wedding colors. I will have to do a few alterations by adding dark red and dark purple flowers, but other than that, I'm so in love!!!

Ideas please....
Being that my fiance and I are devout christians, we have decided that there will be no dancing at all at the wedding (other than our first dance). We finally found the perfect song for our first dance. Also my father and I will not be doing a father-daughter dance neither my fiance and his mom a mother-son dance, so I am trying to come up with some kind of way to replace these dances with something else. The only idea I could come up with so far was for us to play some type of game where we answer questions about each other, but make it funny. Does anyone have any suggestions????
Someone asked why no dancing except for the first dance...well, don't get me wrong, I don't believe that all dancing is wrong, but I don't want to give certain guests the opportunity to convert a simple dance into a derogatory and unrespectable dance. Everyone that will be a part of my wedding are not saved and it's hard to tell people to dance a certain way when what is decent to me may be "dropping it like it's hot" to others. I definitely don't want to give people the chance to disrespect a celebration of our holy union and God, plus there will be ministers and other devout christians present and I want everyone to feel comfortable. Although I do not agree with my father's view (that no worldly music should be played) I have to respect his wishes (play what I feel is appropriate) and not expect him to do a father-daughter dance. |

Desserts
His favorite food my favorite desserts
Because our theme is focused on us, we will be having our favorite stuff and icecream is one of my favorites along with chocolate covered strawberries. So I decided to have and icecream bar where people can choose from a big variety of our favorite icecream flavors.

How We Met
Computer Love
Our relationship was really ment to be because I had no intentions on opening his message on MySpace.com. I only joined MySpace.com to see if I could find some of my friends from high school or hoped that some of them would find me. Routinely, I would just go through and erase every friend request and message of those that I did not recognize but instead of clicking delete I mistakenly clicked on the message. I expected something like "Hey lil' mama can I get yo' number" but instead I found "Do you have enough room for me in your entourage?" So I thought I would talk to him and see what he was about. Sending frequent messages enabled me to see that he was a christian with no kids and no alcohol or drug use so I decided to call him. Everything just clicked between us and almost 2 years later we are engaged to be married.

The Proposal
In Kemah, TX
He called me on his way from work and told me to start getting ready ( take a long time) because we were going to go to Kemah. Funny thing is, he had never been there and I was supposed to take him to see the boardwalk. We waited for an hour to eat at Saltgrass and then walked on the boardwalk under the moonlight. He took me to feed the stingray and we continued to walk for it seems like forever. He says that he was trying to figure out where to propose after we left. Anyway he found an isolated area and poured out his feelings for me and then he proposed.

Wedding Decoration
Centerpieces
I plan to have centerpieces that correlate with both of our likes. My part would be tall vases that hold either goldfish or purple and red bettas (1 per vase). His part will be the lighting. He loves neon lights so I figured I would turn them into lamps some kind of way with purple and red lights. I'm not sure of how to do this because Im almost sure that each table does not have outlets. Does anyone know where I can buy tall vases at a reasonable price? Any suggestions?
