Ladies!

When do you send save the dates?
This is something I always wanted to do and now is the time.

We are almost to the 9 month countdown and I think now is the time to get my guest list completed!

So my color is called Guava from David's Bridal, but I guess it is a coral/pink. I really love pink weddings, especially for Spring in Wisconsin.

I just can't decide, long or short? Same dresses or whatever they want but same fabric....


These are the styles I like. The colors aren't right though.

So this is the dress I ordered. I ordered this the first time we looked at dresses and I love it!

Who has this much time?
I don't know where to start.

Help.

I am for sure using real flowers. But I have thought about having two different centerpieces so not all the tables are the same. I really want to show that I have thought about this.
I want to include engagement pictures some how. Ideas please!! :)

Ah, we have pictures in a couple of weeks and I need some help!
I don't know what type of outfits to wear for our engagement pictures. The pictures will be outside and nothing as formal as FH in a suit.
We are casual, fun and a laid back couple.

Dress, khaki shorts, jeans...I don't know.

What did you all wear for your pictures?

Hello Ladies! What song are you using at your first dance as husband and wife? I want something that is not common. We DJ weddings and seem to hear the same songs over and over again.

I am having second thoughts!
We went shopping this weekend for our Bridesmaid dresses and now I am not sure if I want short or long dresses!

Any ideas!?

I always thought short were not formal enough, but not after looking, I really like them.
Our wedding is early May in Wisconsin. Which can be snowy, raining, hot, humid. You never know!?

Right now it is like mid 50's. Which is not too bad.

So now the question...
What are your bridesmaids wearing? Short (tea length) or long dresses?

So my sister got married in October of 2010 at the Comfort Inn in DeForest, now it is my turn, and we want to keep it local, but our choices are Comfort Inn or Lake Windsor. I love Lake Windsor and I have had my mind set on this for a long time. But I feel that my parents want me to go to Comfort Inn and I really want to go somewhere else. I just can't decide.

Has anyone else had problems? I feel like I will disappoint my parents if I go to Lake Windsor and I don't want that. They are giving me the same amount of money they gave my sister.

We have been together for over 6 years. But we FINALLY decided to move in together, after forever. We are young, 21 and 23. We started dating in high school, went through college and we now have our grown up jobs and are finally starting to be adults. We always knew that we will be married some day but I didn't think we would be planning it already. We wanted to save more money and be able to have everything we want for our wedding. We are big snowmobilers and I always said it would be so neat if he proposed on a snowmobile trail up North in Minocqua when we are up there for our annual trip. Jim hated this idea! So the time came to go up North for the weekend and go snowmobiling, I was not expecting a ring this weekend. We were going and he pulled to the side of the trail and the rest of our group came around us and he proposed. They all knew so we got pictures of the whole thing. I was so shocked and of course cried. But it was an AMAZING weekend.
So the picture of the ring is the engagement right, similar at least, a different center stone, but there is one wedding band, once you put the other one on, it adds to the ring.
