TABLE NUMBER IDEAS

I have two or three ideas that I cannot choose from! SOOOO here goes. I was thinking for table numbers there are SO many options to choose from (other than just placing an obvious NUMBER on the table).

Idea 1: Buying different bottles of our favorite champagne and labeling them with numbers! Everyone at EACH table gets to write their name on a piece of paper. Towards the end of the reception, we could have the dj draw a name from each table, and they get to take the champagne HOME with them :) whatta ya think?

Idea 2: Name each table by where we have been and place a picture of us in that place!?!?! whatta ya think?

I NEED your input!

Another way you can work the champagne bottles.. put it on ice (and to make it even prettier, put flowers on the ice, around the ice holder, somewhere...) and that will be the toasting champagne. :)

I really like your ideas. If you go with the champagne bottles, I would definitely do what felicia said...you could get your centerpieces and table numbers in one if you go that route, PLUS you will be making use of those centerpieces by allowing everyone to join in for the toast. It kind of reminds me of the people who do tiny cakes on each table instead of a huge wedding cake.

If you go with idea 2, you could easily build a theme around that.

Either way, great ideas!! Be sure to let us know what you decide!

Number one is cool and not seen that often, but you might not be able to do it because some places won't let you bring in any bottles of outside alcohol even if you have no intentions of opening them.

I love the idea of naming tables after places you have been because it gives people things to talk about and the ability to get to know you better.  If you have been enough places I say go for that otherwise I like the champagne or other alcohol if they will let you :)

I seen it on Martha stewart and I loved that Idea. I even wished I had done it. I know it my venue I had to pay a 5.00 corking fee. We brought in a Huge bottleof champane per table, and had the servers serve Champane..everyone loved that idea as opposed to wine

i like the second idea, bc you can take the photos and make them into a great collage and have great wedding memories too! The wine bottles are a great idea also. Whatever you come up with, make sure that you two LOVE it!

I think I'm going to stick with the wine bottle idea! I may even just post a picture of us on the backside of the bottle to make it more personal! BUT knowing our guests, I think alcohol in a raffle will suit them!
