I need a coordinator!

Why is this wedding planning not going as smoothly as I would like? I really wanted my colors to be damask with hot pink. FH decided that he did not want his men to wear pink AT ALL! So I changed my colors to yellow and chocolate. But now that I am back from my wedding planning vacation and ready to roll, I really want my hot pink with the black and white! Ugh how am I going to convince him that the men will be fine with wearing a pink feather on their jackets. That is the ONLY pink the men will have on! Somebody please help me. How do a convince a man who absolutely has his mind made up?? I am changing my colors to damask with hot pink, but i want him to think he gave me permission to do so.

just do it lol. my groomsmen wore pink flowers and not one said anything or noticed the day of. they wore navy vests and ties so it was manly enough. m aybe sit him down and talk to him and promise to keep pink to a minimun....bet he is envisioning the guys in all pink or something. also...coordinators are awesome lol. best money ive ever spent

I am also doing damask with hot pink, but I am also throwing in kiwi green. I didn't think the guys would want to wear hot pink. So their vests/ties will be kiwi green and then they will have a hot pink boutineere. Good luck!!

What is the deal with men and PINK!! LOL!!! My Fh loved the idea because he thinks he is a fashion guru of some sort! LOL!!! I love the idea of kiwi green like futuressturgeon stated.  Maybe an alternate color would have worked.

I know you like the idea of pink.. But i think it would look quite nice if they wore black suits with white feathers...  If you can work around his little problem by suggesting something like this, Im pretty sure you could keep your colors. Its all about negotiating :) or well.... etiquitte would say the word 'compromising'

Thanks ladies, I think Im going to go with deneanrae's advise and "just do it" lol...He said no, but on the wedding day if pink feathers show up instead of white, what will he really do other than say no (which he better not if he wants a awesome honeymoon night) lol!
