Oh, Mr. hot glue gun..you make DIY so much easier than it should be!! Yet your painful burn stings me so.. Lol..
I have been MIA for some time now, but definitely not in vain! I have been dying from DIYing as FH and I joke. But anywho..
This weekend, I got a few few things done as shown in the pictures:
*My Bridesmaids/MOH shirts for rehearsal. I wanted to make shirts they could use later, and who can't use a plain white tank top..Thanks to fellow WBC sister ksugar526..I made shirts with a little spin off of her original idea. I added the bling by hand. For the MOH shirt, I used the pre-made MOH bling at JoAnn's.
*My cake servers - I feel these still need something too..I'll probably add a blue accent on the center of ribbon.
*My guest book - purchsed for $2 at Big Lots. I pulled off the ugly gray ribbon and glued some pool blue ribbon down.
Other things accomplished - non-DIY
*Groomsmen now have their suits - Just need to be fitted!
*Ring bearer pillow in. Purchased from a great seller on eBay. Color matches PERFECTly!! :)
*Parasols are in!
*My bridesmaids dresses have been tried on - great news! Only a few need the bust taken in. All my BMs are busty, and I am NOT! Lol..which leads me to my next done task...
*Got my strapless Push Up Bustier bra...(evil laugh)..Muahh hahaha
My next DIY venture:
*Painting parasols
*Designing Table Cards
@nmeadows..thank you also! The bridesmaid ribbon and the pins came from Michaels. I just tied the bridesmaids ribbon and the colored ribbon separately, then I hot glued the ribbons together, and used hot glue to place the pins on the back. For the pins, look in the jewelry section at Michael's or JoAnns.
Everything is coming along nicely..OMG our day is coming up sooo fast!!
