10K for a dress?

I saw this bridal gown by Jenny Packham in a bridal magazine and it totally blew my mind. So did the price at $10,000. As stunning as all of her dresses are I don't think I could enjoy wearing a dress knowing how much it cost. I understand a splurge on your big day but I can't justify that.
Anyone willing to shell out the big bucks on their dress?
Anyone else have "fantasy dress" pictures?

I know I wouldn't its a dress you wear one day in your life.

Now if I were a millionaire....... $10,000 would be pennies to me then I might spend that much.

I have a hard time swallowing a $1,000.00 price tag for a gown!!  

I paid $250 for my gown, brand new.  It is a designer knock off and because it did not have the designer name, I saved over $1,000.  Too often, I see B2Bs fall into the trap of "NEEDING" a designer gown.....

Anyone willing to shell out 10K for a dress FOR ONE DAY has issues.  To me, it seems  like such a waste....

A 10K dress is obviously for someone who already has money. I dont know of anyone who was on a budget but bought a 10K dress. If I was making 6 figures 10K dress might not look like such a big deal and would totally be justifiable.

I dont understand why people are so judgmental. why does a person who spends 10K on a dress has issues? if they are spending 100K on a wedding which I've seen 10K on a dress doesnt seem like a big deal.

It all depends how much overall money you have.

I have many gowns that I've seen that are way out of what I would be willing to spend on a gown... Personally I set my limit @ $2000. I got mine for $1100. It's always fun to dream but I never could feel right knowing I spent a huge amount of money on a dress I'll only be wearing once...

I paid 317 for my alfred angelo gown through pearls place. I couldn't imagine 10k for a dress. I'm trying to keep my wedding at that budget! THE ENTIRE WEDDING! lol

Shes a UK designer who has gorgeous dresses I know a girl that went to college with my sister who sold her car to pay approx $15,000 for a Vera Wang dress...............f**king ridiculous!

I think this is insane but if you are Beyonce or some other rich celebrity then yes, you can do this, unlike us ordinary brides on this blog, the dress better be paying us something

Jenny Packham dresses are amazing. I found mine in a sample sale, it's in almost perfect condition and saved me over £1000 !
