Marriage Problem :(
Please offer advice
I am really sorry for the long post but I need some advice. My husband and I have been married 5 yrs. No major issues, no trust issues, no money issues...nothing.
OK that being said here's the story...he is a diesel mechanic and works in a shop with a few other guys who he is good friends with. One guy (Scott) planned a camping trip to a lake and invited the other guys in the shop. Scott said it was a guys trip there would be about 30 of them going. My husband was considering going (which was fine) and 3 other guys from the shop were going to go as well and take their sons (ages 8 and 4 and 16). OK fine. well something happened or was said that made my husband not want to go. Scott had mentioned that some of the guys were into smoking pot (my husband is NOT) so he said he wasn't going to go. The other guys also backed out not wanting their kids to be around that stuff either. Well Saturday Scott kept calling and texting wanting to know when everyone was coming. My husband said they were still at work and it would be later if they came at all. At lunch time he texted a picture to one of my husbands friends of a naked chick walking around the campsite. I was there and saw the pic and flipped out. Then another text came in and it was the same naked chick ummmm....playing with herself!!!!! I was totally disgusted. Offended. Just irrate. My husband calls Scott and tells him that he just ruined their chances of coming bc I saw the pictures. Scott just laughed. How disgusting. The other guys were saying how gross that was and how they had more respect for their wives than to go when that's what was happening. Well today at work I guess Scott says my husband missed a fun weekend. Ezra says I dont think so. But instead of him saying I'm not into that stuff he just says You ruined my chances of going when you sent those pics. I am pissed!!!! I think my husband should man up and say dude you're a f-ing pervert and I dont associate with ppl like you!!! Scott told my husband that "Brandy better not tell my wife or we'll have problems." whatever that means. i'm not planning on telling her bc I never want to see them again. Am I wrong for feeling upset with my husband for blaming his not going on me????? I am just so emotional right now girls! I cry over everything and this is really bothering me! I think I am so bothered that Scott lied to get the guys to go and he knew this girl would be there and how she was. |

Changes, changes, and more changes
Due Date is Jan 26 2011
So from my last post you know we are now expecting!!!! We had our first OB appointment last Thursday. We got an ultrasound to figure out the exact due date. That is January 26 2011. We also heard the heartbeat!! It sounded nice and strong. The great news is there is only 1 baby in there. Phewwww.....LOL
Now we are trying to figure out when to renew our vows. I have soooo much bought already. Deposits paid etc! So my lovely MOH came up with the idea of using our reception venue for my baby shower so we won't lose that deposit. I called today and they are more than willing to move us into a smaller room and use our deposit for the fee for the smaller room for the shower. So at least we won't lose that money! I have to try and see if my hair and makeup person will give me an appointment for baby shower hair and makeup???? Crazy I know...but I don't want to lose out on all these deposits. Anyway...I'll keep ya all updated and check in on you all a few times a month! Lots of love girls! |

OK so my husband and I have been married for 5 years. Together for 6. I have an 8 yr old girl from a previous relationship. We have not been trying to prevent pregnancy (no condoms...birth control etc) but we haven't been trying either. It just has not happened for us. I have said for the last few years that if we don't get prego by the time I am 30 I will get fixed. WELLLLLL
I have been feeling tired all the time and sick to my tummy every morning. I missed my period last month but I am always irregular so I didn't think nothing of it. Today I went and bought a test and in less than 30 seconds there were 2 pink lines!!!! HOLY SHIT WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So my husband got home from work and I said I had to run to the store and I'd be right back. I went to Target and got some newborn diapers and wipes and brought them home and gave them to him in a gift bag. He said "Why'd ya buy this shit?" I told him bc I'm pregnant. He said Yeah right! I showed him the test and he is so excited. I go to the doctor tomorrow and find out how far along I actually am. This kind of messes up our whole vow renewal thingy. Now I have a ton of stuff and no place to use it. LOL But it'll be ok. This is a happy time! |

How do I address these invites?
I am going to be mailing out my save the dates in a month or so. I want to get the addressing of the envelopes outta the way now though.
I am wondering though...I have several friends that are not married but have a live in boyfriend/girlfriend that will of course be invited to our wedding and reception. How do I address those invitation and save the dates? Would it be....Miss Amanda Boyd and Guest or would it be...Miss Amanda Boyd and Mr. Rob Hall or something different? I am having pocketfold invites so nothing will be written on the "inner" envelope so everything has to go on the outter. I'm not sure how to word it though. |

My little brother got married!!!
I am one proud sister....
Well I have 3 brothers and my oldest brother Chad got married a year ago. My middle brother Jesse just got married May 1. Now just my baby brother left single. I will die when he gets married. He's the baby. It makes me feel soooo old.
Anyway...Jesse and Sarah have been together since they were in middle school. Seriously they have been together forever...they are 26 and started "dating" in 8th grade when they were 13ish. So about 13 years. It was due time for them to get married. They had a gorgeous ceremony on a lake. Here are a couple of their pictures. I am so proud of them!!! OH funny thing. So when Chad got married the dumb tux didn't fit right (his neck is HUGE) well this one didn't fit right either. Poor guy! And Jesse and Chad didn't know that the suits didn't come with sock...so Chad is wearing black Monster Energy motocross racing socks (a huge lime green M on them) and Jesse has on white socks with holes in them! My baby brother Andy is the only one that had the right socks. LOL |

OK...my daughter is staying in Florida until late July with her grandparents for a little summer vacation. This gives me tons and tons of time to get things wedding related done. I would love to get the menu finalized and designed (by Shayne of course) and printed. I just have to come up with a final menu. We have it narrowed down to 3. Can you all please help me and vote? Keep in mind that the cost is about the same for all 3. Also the meal will be served around 1.30pm. Also a salad will be served. (Baby spinach with strawberries and poppy seed dressing)
1. Chicken Cordon Bleu or Apple Glazed Roasted Pork with Red Bliss Mashed Potatoes Cali Veggies Dinner Rolls with Cinnamon Butter 2. Florida here we come
Well we are flying out of Knoxville tomorrow morning to go to Florida for 5 days. I hope to get tons of wedding stuff accomplished while we are there. But we'll see how it goes. I have an appointment with the linen rental lady and a cake tasting as well as looking at another venue for the ceremony. (but I think we are stickin with the resort on the water)

Finished my tears of joy!!
well I finally got my tears of joy done. Well almost. I still have like 10 more to do but I ran outta tape :( Guess I'll go get some tomorrow. Anyway....here is my break down:
50 Glassine Envelopes for 4.75 (shipping included) from Ebay Damask tissues 1.49 for a pack of 10 at Hobby Lobby (I got 3 packs) Ribbon I had from previous projects Labels from Shayne (unpredictablebride) 5.00 for the design Printing was 1.24 from Kinkos (should have used Staples but it is 10 miles away...Kinkos is across the street) Having these done and outta my hair....PRICELESS!!!!! I think they turned out super cute. |
