REALLY need help!! Chicago/Milwaukee brides..

I live in the Chicago suburbs & am getting married in Lake Geneva, WI. With a little over 5 months till the wedding, I am still looking for a photographer. Pics are really important to me, so I want them to be done well & in a photojournalistic style....but I don't have much more than $2,000 to spend on the pics.

Does anyone know of a good, even if beginner, photographer or company in either the Chicago area or near Lake Geneva, WI??

I am just outside of Chicago and I found a girl who is WONDERFUL..he pics are perfect and 1200!! She even travels!!! Heres her site and give her a email or call her. She is super friendly!! Please tell her Shayne sent you if you contact her..it doesnt give me any perks but its a nice feeling to business when they were recommended.

She does 6 hours plus you get a free engagement session at I believe up to 2 locations included in the package..Seriously, she is wonderful and so kind!!!

Hey honey, I am in Chicago and we are using George Street however check out the local art schools cause there is a lot of raw talent waiting to come out, however they may want to use some photos from your event for their portfolio but that's cool. Google art schools in Chicago/Milwaukee. Also Check Amie Photography, she was damn good! Good luck sweetheart and let me know if you need anything else:)

Well, I don't know any photographers in that area. My photographer will travel but I don't know how much extra that would be. I'm paying $800 for 6hrs coverage with 1 photographer and I get all the images on a disk. This also came with a free engagement shoot. This package was perfect for what I needed.

You could try contacting them and see what they could do for you.

Hey, I don't live in Chi-city but there is an amazing website I used for multiple vendors - www.eventective.com

You can fill in all your particulars of where you're getting married, budget etc. and potential photogs will call you.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions!! I'm meeting with a couple of the Chicagoland photographers this weekend....my stress level has gone way down :)
