I have been told for years that I'm great at planning/organizing, but I never really thought about it as a career...until I saw how much fun it was to plan my own wedding. Nearly everything we did was DIY & we've had so many compliments on the day. It's really helped encourage me to look into my options for some type of work as a planner.
BUT I have no clue where to start!! I know some of you ladies have gotten certified & started your own side businesses...Would you share how you got started? Any advice on the best places to go for online training/certifications? Any help would be awesome.

Start off with family, friends, personal parties....You might have to even eat the costs on just getting it out there with photos and experience. I don't know any personal sites to suggest into getting certified, but they are out there. I know Retrobride did a course and got certified, she's up in Canada, but I can't help you with a direct contact. If you have the talent and the dream, go for it. I've seen many, many of our WBC go out there and test the waters. You never know until you float! Go for it! Yayyy, I'm routing for ya!
