Ask a Question
Am I crazy?!
So, the idea came up that I serve tacos at the reception to add some more flava to the food choices. Well, it has always been a joke with me and my grandma, since I was probably about 12, that I would serve Taco Bell at my wedding because we both love it so much and for a change we could eat real food at a wedding! SO, I thought it would be fun to add taco bell along with our other Hor d'oeuvres! We wouldn't leave the tacos wrapped and they would be presented in a nice way....

What does everyone think of Taco Bell? Would it be fun or does it sound cheap? Or any other ideas of food that you LOVE?

Taco Bell

*** Thanks everyone for their opinions! So far they have been very helpful. I will ponder the idea some more - maybe I will do it for just part of the reception - we'll see...****

I personally do not like Taco Bell at all but I see where you're going with this and am entertaining the idea....and I have to say I think its great. It sounds fun and as long as there are no taco bell wrappers around you're fine.
A chicago bride from theknot served chicago hot dogs (no ketchup) at her reception and raved how big of a hit it was. Another couple bought mcdonald burgers for the late snack at the reception and people loved them. Its comfort food that people love so totally go for it.

Can I come to your wedding? I can throw down on some tacos. Why didn't I think of this when trying to find a cheap catering solution???

Tacos sound great- but not from Taco Bell. I've heard very scary things about their food (I'm a retired Taco Bell lover) and some of your guests might have too. Also. the shells will get soggy sitting out- maybe provide shells, meat and condiments for guests.

Mmmm, I love a good taco every now & then.  This idea sounds alot of fun.  It's also fun food for kids to handle (if you're having kids at your reception).

i think its cute! - if its a way to express who you two are and can be done in a nice way the i say GO FOR IT! - there are WAY to many traditions and other things you need to worry about so just have fun!
