Ask a Question
Target / Bed Bath & Beyond
We finally finished registering today! There is still some editing to do (Brandon thought it would be amusing to scan toilet paper, a playstation 3 and a my little pony, but only the essentials you know? lol)

But I wanted ask what people registered for gifts in the $25 range? I have found that most of my items are like $40 and I want to have more options. Also has anyone registered on amazon.com? I have been debating this and am not sure. How is it working out for you?

But at least we are registered and well on our way! Bed Bath & Beyond / Target here we come!

I'm registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and Amazon.com.  After BB&B, we had a hard time deciding what we wanted for our second registry.  We finally picked Amazon because they have just about everything.  My one doubt about Amazon is how well their return policy works, since I think we would have to pay shipping on anything we wanted to return.  But hopefully we won't need to return much.  Since we just registered and the wedding isn't till June, nobody has bought us anything yet.  But the actual process of creating the registry on Amazon is pretty easy.  I've been pleased so far, and I hope it is also an easy process for my guests.  However, we only have like 15 items on there so far - most of our stuff is at BB&B right now.

I think we have a fair amount of items that cost less than $25.  It helps that the dishes we want are sold separately, so somebody could just buy us two plates if they want and then someone else could get two more.... :)

Hey thanks guys that helps. Amazon sounds like it is worth a shot - really know the items that you register for, huh?! My tech family might enjoy browsing through there.

$25 items:
kitchen containers
towels
bath stuff
candles/living decor
camping accessories
board games
favorite movies on DVD
utensils
umm... that's all I can think of.

We were going to do amazon...but then realized the geniuses in my family probably wouldn't be able to figure out online shopping. So, we plan to choose Target & BB&B

I know that you probably already registered at Target and I was going to register there as well, but my friend got married last summer and she registered at Target and she said that they are a nightmare to work with. First off most people dont put a girl receipt in with the gift so you cant use that to echange. Secondly she said that a lot of people didnt scan the item so that it showed fulfilled on the registry and so she got many duplicate items and when she went to take the duplicate items back they would only let her take back two items a year without a receipt. She told me that Bed Bath and Beyond is great to work with but she insisted taht I not register at Target!!! Just some advice that I was given!! Dont get me wrong I LOVE Target and their products!!!

I registered for a lot of movies at Target for those people who don't have a lot to spend but still want to get us a present. I also ordered several other things that are under $25 like: kitchen utensils, board games, cookbooks, tote bags, candles, towels, small decorative vases.... Just some ideas! Since we don't really need much I'm just going to maybe ask for some grocery gift cards or tickets to different events around town....
