Monograms
Here are my final two monograms
Anyways, for anyone who doesn't know how to make a monogram, this is what I did. And it was very easy to make, I placed a bunch of fonts in powerpoint, made my design and saved each monogram on a seperate slide as .jpg. Then I went to paint or irfanview to edit and center the design. |

Marriage License
We are almost legal!
So we went to get our marriage license! It was fun and kind of stressful. Brandon is not close to his real dad, so he was having problems knowing all the info. We spent along time calling people and still aren't officially sure where his dad was born. We are thinking Germany. Anyways, I guess know your information before you go!
It was also fun to see our names in the newspaper under the marriage licenses! I found out today that after the wedding I will have to remain legally Alyshia "R" for awhile instead of being Alyshia "S" due to the licensing boards I will be taking for nursing this summer. Whatever my name is now has to be what my name will be when I take them or I have to wait a whole 60 days to process my new ID... ugg. Brandon doesn't know yet, he will probably be kind of disappointed, but I will still be Alyshia "S," just not legally!  |

April - May Newsletter
I finally have the 2nd newsletter done!
Here is the 2nd edition for April - May! What a busy month. I tried to get this out by the end of April, but geesh time flies by when your having fun! ;)
I am going to start June's edition on monday so I don't get behind again!  |

Bridesmaids
My bridesmaid dresses!
We picked up the dresses and the cardigans for the bridesmaids today! I really like the cocktail dress style. Plus they will look so cute and summery. And I can actually say they will probably be worn again! I'm in luv. ;P
The best part about it though was they were only $35 and the cardigan $12. So I went ahead and just bought them as a gift to my girls. (Except for the MOH who was with me and insisted she pay for her own! DARN that girl!)  |

Catering!
Finally all confirmed and ready to go!
So, we have finally confirmed all the food arrangements for the reception! Yipee! Our local pizza restaurant in Olympia is going to cater 200 people for us for very cheap! $$$$ So excited. Here is our very casual menu (very simple, but only our favorites, so it makes since) ;D

Brandon's ring came in today! I luv it!
It is a titanium ring, so he won't wear it down as fast and it still matches the white gold on my ring very nicely! It also has three round diamonds that match by round diamond too - I'm so excited to it on him. (Well he saw it once and then when I got it in I had him close his eyes so I could make sure it fit and that it looked nice - it was perfect!) ***Sorry to you guys who commented from before! Somehow the site goofed and tried to delete your comments when I posted a response! ahhh! But I somewhat saved them (backspaced and copied them). So that's why it looks funny!**** |

You can't invite everyone!
So what IS the "right thing" to do!? I have 33 classmates in my nursing program and I know all of them, but am close to maybe 10 of them, but some people that I wasn't planning on inviting have (of course) expressed interest in coming! I want to invite just those I am close to, but I don't want anyone with hurt feelings because really all 33 of us have been through a lot together. I would LOVE to invite everyone, but that is just not necessary. The wedding is a month after we graduate, so maybe I can get away with sending out those particular invites late? Ahhh, what do I do?! What have you guys done in these "toughy" situations?
Another thing- True that when you invite just one person you know you need to "add + 1 guest"? Is everyone following that rule to the tee? I don't want to be rude, but all these guys know each other, so they don't need their significant others!? |

It came in finally!
**UPDATE**
I did finally get my ring in a couple weeks ago - here are some better shots of it! It still was not the right size (it is a 4 and a 3.75 was what I wanted) so now it twirls around my finger, but at least I can wear it and I luv it! I just noticed that these pics were taken over my school notes when I was SUPPOSE to be studying! It is so distracting planning a wedding! |
