This is alyzip's Pink Wedding!

Me and two of my BM went to the bridal shop Wed night and ordered their new dresses. It is actually one of the dresses we concidered last time. It was between the dress we orig ordered and this one. The new dress is by Alfred Angelo, I not crazy about it but it will do. I WANT the dress we orig ordered...which I found out there still MIGHT be a chance it may come in. The manufacurer has not confirmed either way. So for now it is the Alfred Angelo which I was told should be here in 10 wks(beg of May), my wedding is in 14 wks. Talk about cutting it short, and that was with a rush...

***Update***
I got a call from the owner Thurs confirming the order and she said they will be in the begining of April! I called her back just to make sure it wasn't a mistake. She confirmed the dresses are do to come in begining of April, was called them personally to ask for a faster ship time. Let's pray this all works out!

When I got home today I had a message from the owen of bridal shop I ordered the girls dresses from asking me to call her, it was very important. I just got off the phone w/ her and guess what...I now have to order new dresses for my girls. The company, Dessy is not get back to the owner reguarding the order. The owner of the local shop has been hearing a few diff rumors reguarding Dessy that they are having financial issues...Surprising in this economy...

So, I am coming to WBC again for some suggestions. I had a hard time in the begining finding the dresses now I have to start all over. Again, our colors are Pink and Orange. I am looking for a dress to inc both colors. Pink for the dress w/ an orange sash. Does anyone have suggestions? I have to order them ASAP.

I ordered the other dresses back in Nov and they were do to be in the end of March. I kinda had a bad feeling about this about 2 weeks ago about this. I had to have the dresses ordered by the end of Nov because the manufaturer was d/c them. My wedding is in a little over 3 months...

I am having a hard time w/ my centerpieces...I want to do them myself because we are on such a tight budget but I don't "love" them. I bought these candles/vases a few months back and I'm just not crazy about them. Our colors are Pink and Orange and I want to try and incorporate that into the tables. I also want candles. I love the warm, romantic feeling they bring.
Do any of you have suggestions? Either w/ my current peices or even something new...??? I def need to be price concious but I also want to be proud of them.
Even if it doesn't include the colors and is something w/ just candles. Does anyone have stuff left over from their wedding that I could buy? I just want it to look GREAT but not cost a fortune. PLEASE HELP!!!

My current plan is to have the vase in the center w/ 3 tealights or votives around the base.

The BM&GM mugs came in yesterday and they look great. We ordered them last week from www.groomsonlinegifts.com. We ordered 4 of the groomsmen and 1 BM and had them engraved w/ their names and our wedding date. The mugs were about $25 each including engraving and $15 to ship them all. It is kinda had to see the engraving on the medalions, buts it's there. They look nice in person but I couldn't get a pic w/o the glare. We also got our BM a flask from Things Remembered and had that engraved w/ a little quote...BM once, friend forever...didn't want the name and date again. We still wanna get them something small and fun. Any suggestions?

We decided to get married in a small stone chapel rather then a large church. We both liked the intimate feeling. The chapel holds 100 people which is perfect! It fits 90 chairs and also has pew up front where the parents can sit. Not sure if we want them in the pews or in the first row of chairs?? We will find out at the rehersal.
Our ceremony will be June 6th @ the Alvirne Chapel in Hudson, NH. We are having a 5:00 ceremony so keep your fingers crossed for cooler weather. I don't think there is AC?

My first DIY project... I already knew I wanted to do something w/ candles for the CP but wasn't quite sure what. I found these candle holders at the Christmas Tree Shop back and April for $3.99 so I picked up 13 of them and would figure out the rest later.

My sister in-law had picked up some glass rocks a few months back and I had been looking for some kind of pink rocks/crystals. I came across them on another trip to the Xmas Tree Shop, this time in CT. I was sooo excited! I found exactly what I was looking for! I think it was $2.00 a bag?

Next I grabed some ribbon and flowers @ Michael's and was ready to put it all together. So this is it...What do you think? I am also gonna put some tea lights around the CP. I'm not sure how I feel about them. Any suggestions? I think I might get rid of the Flower? Not really feeling it!

I love the gerber dasies for the bridesmaides bouquets. They are going to me a small arangement of Pink and Orange gerbers. I am still unsure on my bouquet though. I want something different. Not sure if I want roses? I was thinking Pink and White mini calia's or maybe Peaony's?? I think they are more $$...Any suggestions?

I think I have found my flowers. I love the bright pink roses for myself w/ a little touch of green. I also really like the bridesmaids w/ the roses and gerbers. What do you think?

I love the idea of making your own card box. Why pay $50+ for an ugly, plain box. I love the bright colors of this box. I recently purched 2 round hat boxes from the Christmas Tree Shop, less then $10 for both. I plan to decorate w/ wrapping paper, and ribbon.

I wanted to do something different for my guest favors and I came across this, Candy Buffet. We didn't wanna pay money for a gift no one really wants. I personally love candy! The table "theme" is "Love is Sweet"...kinda lame, but that's okay. I bought clear little take out boxes. I think I am gonna get some larger bags too, for the bigger stuff. I also thought about naming the tables as candy, instead of the traditional boring numbers. Any thoughts?

Okay, so I had long hair for pretty much my whole life, last winter I decided I wanted a change. I cut my hair last November then got engaged in March....Ugh! I have been letting my hair grow and hopefully by June it'll be long enough for this style. I don't want my hair all up but can't stand it in my face. Absolutly LOVE this style!
