Lots of progress
I've been away too long

I've actually been making a LOT of progress. When I get really busy with wedding planning it seems I don't have time to write about it here. But for those that were wondering, I'm still alive.

I've come to realize that wedding planning is an evolution. If I went with 99% of the ideas I started with I'd totally hate everything about the look of my wedding. I used to have Pink as my main color, but now it seems that blue is becoming more and more dominant. Maybe I'm secretly a blue bride? Our only accent color used to be silver, now I've added ivory and light gold, and touches of turquois and darker pink in reception decorations.

I have had the same realization. I'm more drawn to blue. Plus my FI is like anti pink. My BM dresses are blue, my save the dates are blue and my cake is blue. I have some touches of pink. I too have ivory and gold with touches of turquoise and darker pink, like hot pink. I have turquoise and hot pink lighting in the dance floor area. My table linens are like a light ivory/champagne color. You are right, it is an evolution.
