I thought that I read somewhere if your crinoline is 100% polyester it will not dye correctly? Can someone help confirm this for me?

I still really want to do this, but since mine is 100% poly I don't want to ruin it and have to get another one.

HELP?! Does anybody know the answer to this?

I've heard/saw ppl dye their crinoline, but I also know that you can't use regular dyes on 100% polyester. It takes disperse dye, here is some info I found online for you....

mine colored just fine. matter of fact I did two. I made one for a bride on here back in 2008. She loved it. I loved mine. I had no problems. Did it at home in my bathtub.
