Cheers for FH's that like to be involved!

I just wanted to take time to say I'm thankful for my FH that actually LIKES to be involved in the planning of our wedding. Don't get me wrong, I'm the main planner, but he hates it when people say to him, "Oh you probably don't care anyways, it's her day". He thinks that's true, but it's also his, and YES he would like to have a say-so in some of the plans.

Just wanted to- What's the opposite for vent? Gush? Brag? Whatever it is, I just wanted to say I'm thankful :)

most of the time I get the same thing - except I have learned I can not bomard (sp) him with wedding stuff the second he gets home =]

My FH is fairly involved as well. It took him a little while, but once we started going to meetings and what not, he's been very informative when it comes to what he thinks would be good and what wouldn't be so good. He even put a stop to my thoughts on ditching my current wedding plans and going to Vegas! Crazy eh!

FH has been so great through this whole planning process. going to all the meetings with me and some without me! he's taken dancing lessons and always gives his honest opinion when i ask. i honestly wouldn't plan this day without his input. it needs to be awesome for both of us!

the fh has been better than i anticipated. he doesn't give me a hard time, he goes to the meetings, & when he told me "whatever i want he wants" & i told him i wanted a real opinion he actually offers his input. he's aware that i want this wedding to be our day - since, ya know, it IS! - & that i want him involved.

Yay! That's the best!!! My FH is all in the business... One time I played the Bride card, and was like.. no.. not this time mister.. that one is my decision! lol He was like..oh sorry..hahahah But I love it.

kudos! my FH is one of those that could give a shit... and he plays all cute saying he doesnt care he just wants to marry me. Cant get mad at that...and im ok with it cuz im a control freak and like things my way haha...so im doing EVERYTHING..he has veto power however lol

So I definitely have a FH that is very involved in our planning - he's a very detailed oriented person and loves planning events. So I'm more than willing to have him do as much as he can, I work 70+ hrs a week on third shift so its hard for me to get stuff done in the middle of the night - thankfully, my FH is a teacher and can get wedding stuff done on planning period and after he gets home! Love it!

I think it would be best to do like you said. Definitely handwrite for the invites, but the STD's are a little more informal, so I definitely think...
