I got the best deal ever on wedding invitations!!!! One of my bridesmaids mom's owns a wholesale buisness, so she called up one of her suppliers for me. He brought a HUGE box of DIY invite kits for me to go through. I got 3 boxes of 50 for..................$12!!!!!!!!!! GREAT deal! I also ordered small boxes for my favours. They are 10 boxes for 2.50. I'm so excited to have saved so much money!

I'm getting so excited for our buck and doe!! It is April 24th and I can hardly wait!!!!!! Our wedding party came over last night and we got just about all of it planned. I really hope we have a good turn out for it!

I hope all your planning is going well!! Thought I would give you all an update. I'm booked for surgery January 19th! I'm scared!!!! I can't wait till my wedding is done with though. Lately the planning is driving me nuts! My fhs brother is also getting married. His fiance is driving me nuts. She is a self centered 20 year old!! Argh! So stressed! I want it to be done with!

I don't think I've said enough about my fh. I don't want our wedding to just be about the bride. He really is my best friend and I can't imagine spending my life or raising kinds with anyone else. We've been together for 3 and a half years, and have been living together for the last year. I'm so glad we decided to live together first. It has taught us so much each other, and has made our relationship so much better. We rented a house for 4 months, and bought our current house in April. Things have been especially great since we've moved. I really don't think we've had a fight since we've moved! The last few months have been the hardest for us. When I was sick in the hospital through the summer, he really proved himself his love to me. He would drop me off tea before he started work at 7, spend lunch time with me, and spent all evening with me. He even spent a whole night awake with me when I was in the er, and never complained about being tired at work. I think going through this has really made us love each other that much more. My pastor even pointed out that we've been together through the poor and rich, and sickness and in health part of our vows. I think if we can make it through this, we can make it through anything. He works as a mechanic and LOVES John Deere tractors. I'm really surprised at how excited he is to get married. He isn't really excited about all the planning and what not, just the husband part, which is the most important! I hope that gives you all a little glimpse of the man I love more than anything :-)

I want it to be June 13th!!!!! I really don't like having to wait this long to get married! I just want to be his wife :-) I'm so lucky to have someone that loves me so much. I'm not even worried about having post-wedding blues oddly enough. I guess it helps though that we are both involved in 2 weddings later next summer. I really can't wait for life to be back to normal. I like it when things are predictable. Although I did lke his surprise tonight. He tried to make me cookies! They didn't really look like cookies... but it's the thought that counts!

I've heard a lot of good things about the 30 day shred dvd. I found out today, it is also available for Nintendo Wii! Has anyone tried this version? I like my wii, but the games that came with it, dosn't really give me a real workout. I think this game might be on my Christmas list!! I hope Santa is nice to me :-)

It has always been important to me to have meaningful wedding vows. I really want to be able to say something and really mean it. I'm not the greatest writer, and neither is he. Is there any websites someone has found helpful in writing your own? Even some examples would be really helpful for both my fiance and I.

What is the craziest thing you've seen at a wedding? Almost every wedding I've went to has had something rather insane happen! When my aunt got married a few years ago, one of her bridesmaids got so drunk, she fell and broke her nose at the reception!! She left, and came back with a very bandaged and banged up face! This is one of the reasons why I will not be having an open bar!! Does anyone else have some funny crazy stories? I figure we may as well all share. We all deserve a laugh :-)

As I said in a previous post, I'm the matron of honour for a friend in September. I feel awful that I havn't been able to do much. Everytime she has asked me to go look at her dress, I've been sick. The only time I was well enough to go, the weather was to bad to drive there. I've done some e-mailing and what not to vendors for her, but I still feel like I'm such a failure!! I've never even been in a wedding party before, and I'm not sure what else I should/can do. Does anyone have some suggestions?

I'm pretty brutal with computers so there is no way I can do it with paint. Are there any websites that will generate monograms? Everyone else's look great!!

I'm so excited!!! It is less than 200 days away! My buck and doe is 149 days away!!!! I'm so excited!! I'm still more terrified of my buck and doe than my wedding though, oddly enough. I get so scared that nobody will come! I would be so embarassed! All my friends keep telling me there is no way this will happen, so I try to believe them. If we sell it out, we should make $3000 to $6000! That will be such a huge help with wedding costs since I havn't worked since July! I'm really hoping they can figure out what is wrong by January so I can get back to work. I hate feeling like this!! I had to go to the hospital for morphine again Monday :-( The doctor I had was a man from my church, and he was very nice. It made me nervous though, he said my mri report was one of the strangest he has ever seen!! I can't wait till I'm better and this is all behind me! I'll be so sad if I can't wear my pink heels at my wedding! There are a few positives about being sick though. I've become a lot closer to one of my aunts. She e-mails or calls me everyday. She is making me a quilt as a wedding gift! I also really found out who my friends were. It is wonderful to have so many helpful people in my life.

Even though I deleted my post about you (because all you do is drink, bitch, stalk, and attack good people in your spare time), you proved my point! NUTS and RUDE!! Seriously, don't high school kids attack and try to ruin other people's blogs?? Not something I would expect from girls that are supposed to be wives. I'm sure you do a very good job at embarassing your husbands.

Anyone else LOVE this show? I just watched 2 episodes tonight. I love his ideas! He has such great style!!

I know it's not wedding related, but I'm just sooo frustrated!! I FINALLY for my correct mri results today, and it found a cyst on my ovary!!!I already have a degenerative disc disease and a bulging disc!! I'm getting so frustrated that being sick with a BAD back ache has turned into 5 months off work, and 4 diagnosis!! It sounds like it is rather large to since it is compressing some nerves apparently... I just want to get better and ENJOY wedding planning instead of worrying about delaying it cause of health problems!!!! Thank god my hubby to be is awesome and always supportive. I'm so frustrated I can't see a doctor about it till February!!! But why does all this have to happen now??!!

Update- I have an appointment to see a doctor Thursday!!! I hope it is a good thing, and not "get her in asap cause something is VERY wrong!"

Update-Doc isn't sure if it is just a cyst.. he calls it a mass... that reminds me of tumour, and tumour reminds me of cancer... I'm terrified of having something like that.. I'm having am ultrasound Friday, and the doctor wants to be there for it.. I'm SCARED. Please say a little prayer :-)

Since you are all so nice to me, I needed to be excited and say I just got done another nursing class! woo hoo!! I ended up with a 89%! Only 1 more year left! Can't wait!! Once this course I done, I would love to start working on my masters :-)

My friend Becky, who is my maid of honour, asked me this week to be her matron of honour!! I'm so excited and honoured to be part of someone else's wedding!! She is also having a maid of honour, who is also a close friend of mine. I'm excited to plan things with her!

I'm so excited! I found a place that can do my decorations for cheap!! yeah!! The even better part is they will do the set up and take down!! That makes me HAPPY!! I think I want to have half pink tables, and half green tables. Tell me what you think!!

I know this may seem like a stupid thing to be worrying about... But I'm not sure if I want to have round or rectangular tables! I've seen either done, but I'm not sure which I prefer!! My mom things circle is more formal looking and it is easier for people to talk. I agree with that.. but then I can't do table runners the way I would like. Help and opinions please! What is everyone else's preference??

I think I've finally decided what I want to do for my wedding cake :-) I think I want to make my own small wedding cake, a smaller two teired version of the one of the left. I want to have someone else do my cupcakes though. Since I am a bit of a control freak, I want to have my own recipes to give the baker. Does anyone know where to get good recipes? I don't want them to be super fancy flavours, just basic flavours, but with a good KICK of flavour. I hate bland! I LOVE how these ones are decoated! So perfect!

I've heard this is a good workout dvd... I don't want to loose any weight, but would like to be a bit more toned. Has anyone else tried this?

My grandma has offered to make the desserts for my wedding!! Yeah! She used to be a caterer, so I know they will be delicious! I'm not sure what I want her to make though. I'm thinking cherry cheese cake, black forest cake (my fiance's favourite *gag*), and maybe a few types of pie, or a lemon dessert she makes!! I'm excited!!

So, I can't sleep, hence why I am up at 2:00am blogging with a SNORING husband to be beside me!! I'm NERVOUS! I have a doctor appointment tomorrow to find out my latest MRI results! I'm scared yet excited! I want them to figure out how to fix me before my wedding!! The doctor has told me I have a bulging disc in my back, diffuse disc disease, and apparently gallstones, just to top it off! Anybody else have this?! I don't know how to deal with it anymore!!!!!!!!!!! There, I needed to vent!! Maybe now I can get some sleep! :-)

Update!! I'm on Celebrex now :-) I hope it controlls the pain!! Might be having my gall bladder removed. If it makes me stop feeling sick, I'm ALL for it!

I'm not sure which one I like the best. When I contacted them, they asked that I have ideas for photos I would want done. I have NO ideas though!! I'm really not sure what to wear or pose like.. I was thinking of possible wearing a hockey jersey and hat in one, and some cute lingerie maybe? Very clueless on the poses though... Give me ideas!!

I'm not sure what to do about tables. It seems stupid to worry about, but I worry!! The hall I'm having my wedding at has both round tables and rectangular tables. I love the ribbons on this table, but I don't think they would translate well on a round table. Could I get some opinions on this please :-) I like having something other than just the center piece on tables!
