This is amberdanielle's Red Wedding!

Shawn and I have been dating for about 10 months and we're deployed to Kuwait for another year. We're stationed about 2 hours away from eachother and we get to see eachother about every other week. It's not enough!!! He was sent to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain for a 2 week business trip for the Army. We had been talking everyday on the phone or the internet and I couldn't wait for him to get back! He had slipped at one point and mentioned that he had a ring made. I, of course, heard it and asked him about it. He said he was talking about someone else. Liar! So the night he came back I was so excited! I was the one to pick him up at the airport in Kuwait City. We had planned to meet in Starbucks there. He arrived first. Once I walked up to the 2nd floor I was ready to run up to him! He stopped me and said we can't hug like that (because of the culture.) I wanted to scream! Then I see one of our co-workers with a camera all ready. So, I'm thinking he's going to take some pictures of us....then I see Shawn get down on one knee. I didn't know what to do! I had a shocked look on my face and got teary eyed. I said yes and we hugged forever! It was an amazing time and I'll never forget it!
