This really is the hardest decision for us

As much as we want to invite everyone we have in our lives its really not possible and it really sucks.Do people understand that we want to but we can't or do they just say that so we don't feel bad. Im already getting myself so upset with this topic... We are on our 4th list, we went from 400 to 380 to 350 and now we are at 300 plus the going back & forth with yes and no.....Ugh!

I'm sure they will understand. Invite those who you can and if you get a lot of No's then invite some more.

Your so right! We need a back up list to replace those who won't make it....

Yes definitely have an A list and a B list just in case A's say no. The only thing to be careful about is not to have As and Bs among the same group of friends or family.

I agree that it's so hard to narrow down the guest list. Our max is 120 because of our venue and it's so hard!

This has been the hardest part for us too!! We can only have 150 at the reception and it is so hard to decide! We have 174 on the list, and these are mostly all family and close friends, that we dont have a choice but to invite! I know some people will not show up, so we are kind of hoping it will all work out! I hope people understand to, its just not possbile to have everyone!

I agree with mibride080610. You should have an "A" and "B" list. The "A" list will be for the guests you truly want to invite. It is hard to choose who you want to invite. Just keep in mind to invite those who you deal with all the time instead of someone who you haven't spoken to in years. Don't stress out, it will get easier.

Were on the same boat... but we ended up getting a venue that was big enough to fit i think 800 but noooo can dooo we cant afford to have 800 guest lol Were inviting 450-500. Our WC suggested we only fee 400 & seat 400, even though were invited around 500. Only because the men hardly ever sit, they are always standing up & drinking. Plus the plan is to have 2 lounge areas so were hoping that will help a bit =)
