Engagement

I'm getting married!!!

Well ladies, he bought the ring, he popped the question and I said YES! And now here I am...LOL

I have been engaged for only a week now, and it has been a whirlwind already. Dealing with family, friends, and announcing to all. Looking at all the possibilites of dresses, flowers, cakes, destinations, bridesmaids, invitations, take home gifts, centrepieces, meals, brides magazines, wedding websites, and idea after idea. Looks like it's going to be a looooonnnnggg yyyyyyeaaarr!
However, I seem to be engaged to the greatest man alive. It's been a crazy week, yet every time he reminds me, "it's about us". "We're doing this for eachother, to marry eachother". When he says that, it brings me right back down to earth.

So now I've got my head on straight, the planning has started and were on a roll. Not to mention my fiancee is a closet wedding planner himself! LOL He has so much input and so many ideas already. I'm one lucky girl.

This is just the beginning, so I'm sure my ideas will change a lot throughout the course of a year, but it's a start!
