We are just one month away from our dream! Everything is just perfect... this will be the best month ever!

Yes!!! Our love story will be published in a magazine this month!!!

It all started with a promotion ad I saw… The promotion consisted on answering some questions and the winner could get a bridal gown and everything else she needs!!!

I decided to participate; there was nothing to lose right? Two weeks ago they told me that I was in the second phase, and that I needed to write down something about the moment when I knew HE was the man of my life. I did that and yesterday they answered me that I’m one of the 3 finalists! Our story will be published this month!!! That’s great!!!

My FH doesn’t know anything about this, so I was planning on giving him the magazine as a surprise… but I’m not sure when will be better:

1. At the reception: someone could just stand up and start reading “a very interesting article she found on a magazine” and at the end he’ll know it is our story. Or
2. On the plane: I can take the magazine with my to the honeymoon and when we are on the plane, I can put it with all the other magazines so he can find right there!

I’m not sure!!! What would you do???

I've been trying to place an order but I just can’t! This is so frustrating; because I LOVE them and since I saw them I wanted them for my wedding!!!

I live in Mexico, and I want to ship my order to a friend that lives in the US but I can’t pay with my credit card because it has not a US address, and the billing section requires a US ZIP code. I don’t know what to do or if I should keep trying! I sent an email to customer service... I hope they answer soon.

COUPON CODES: I’ve also searched for promotional codes and found 2 that worked for many people (they have a 80% success in the comments MOM3 AND SPRING2) one for free shipment and one for a free bag, but they don’t seem to work for me =( .............help!!

Our invitations where supposed to be one of my DIY projects... but I don't have the time anymore, so we went with a graphic designer and she will take care of everything and will respect my design!!! Great!!!

The black thing will be a personalized ribbon that matches the inside design.

Finally I just what to post one of the most special parts of our invitations: the pray we made the day we knew we where met to be together. We wrote it down and kept it until this moment when we will be able to share it with the people we love the most!

I'm sooooooo happy!!!

Today he booked the hotel for our Honeymoon night! I'm so nervous and excited! I can’t imagine right now what I'll be felling when we enter there as husband and wife... wow!

These are my options:

1. Mixed colors and materials: The first one you see in the pictures

2. Tall: you can see a sample in the last picture, but it wont be exaclty the same (mine has less roses) =(

3. With a candle base: I don't have a picture of the last option but it is a square candle with a lot of roses inside.

Maybe I will have half the reception with the tall centerpiece and half with the ones with candels inside... I'm not sure yet!!!!

I’m planning my wedding from another city, and sometimes it gets a little complicated to do things like that and fast… I’m sure many of you understand what I mean. But a couple of weeks ago we travel to Mexico City to fix some things and we had the opportunity to do soooooo many things in just 4 days!

I’m exhausted and absolutely EXCITED!!!

1. FIRST WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: achieved!
2. BACHELORETTE PARTY: unforgettable fun!!
3. CAKE: yummy yummy, right Dad?!
4. MUSIC VENDOR: great deal!!! As a satisfaction guarantee of my brother’s,wedding they totally improved our package, for free!!!
5. BRAIDSMAIDS DRESSES: Great surprise! I finally met the girl that will design the dresses, she is a complete charm, and she got my idea so fast that I just can’t wait to see the final results!
6. WINE: bought! Thank you Dad!!
7. GIFT REGISTRY: Done!! after 10 hours!! Yes 10 hours!!!
8. FIRST PHOTO SESSION: Superb! We felt like stars for one day… can’t wait to see the results. We walked around the city and stopped in so many unthinkable places… every step was a sweet surprise that ended with a kiss...thank you!!
9. RING BANS: bought!! So classy!!
10. WEDDING DRESS: Finally arrived!!! It’s already at home, waiting for the big day!!! It’s like a dream to see it hanging in my old room.
11. DINNER WITH MY FRIENDS: couldn’t miss that!
12. LEGAL REQUIREMTS: done!
13. GROOMS TUX: ordered!!
14. TASTING: wow!!! We saw the tables and everything as it would be that night. We tried 7 different things from appetizer to dessert. Everything was delicious!! I’ll post the menu later ;)
15. FLOWERS: We finally have 3 options for our centerpieces (I have to say none of them as I imagined haha)
16. JAZZ BAND: First deposit!! We will have our favorite jazz, I’m sure the mood will be even better than in our romantique dinners, and that’s hard to say!

IM SO HAPPY!!! Next step: INVITATIONS!!!
I can only say… “Heaven, I’m in heaven… and my hearts bets so that I can hardly breathe…”

I’m also wondering what perfume should I use that night…
I only have these 2 options and I absolutely LOVE both of them!

Let’s live the wedding with all our senses!!!

I’ve read that scent-based memories are actually the “strongest and longest lasting type”… and that’s the kind of memories we want everybody to have!

We decided to incorporate that special touch during our ceremony… we searched for something that was meaningful for us and finally decided for The Body Shop Satsuma Fragrance. We used it once at one of our first and best romantique dinner!

Where to find a complete to do list?

100 DAYS!!! wow!!! everything is happening so fast!!! .. I'm so excited!!!... did I say 100 days!?!?!

I still have many things to do, but I don't know if I'm missing something.

I bought my wedding dress on February and I love it… but now I’m not sure that WHITE was a good choice!!!

The one I tried on the store was ivory, but at the end when the lady asked… I said WHITE! just because I always wanted a white dress, but now I realize that I haven’t actually tried a white dress, ever!

The thing is that the more I see ivory, the more I love it and now I’m afraid that when they give me my white dress (in August) I won’t like it as much… What can I do?!!! I don’t even know if they can change it or even if white looks well on girls like me… I need your advice

This time my sister in law, her dress, the camera and I ... had a great night trying on her dress!!!

She wants to be a photographer, so we just made an "excercise" and had a lot of fun while taking the pictures... After my wedding we are planning on doing the same thing but with my dress =)

It’s official; from now on my fiancé can’t see this blog anymore!
I bought my dress on February, and opposite of what I’ve always thought, it was sooooooo easy and sooooooooo unfortunately fast!!!

I was waiting for that moment since I was a little girl, I thought it was going to be hard, and that I would have to try on many many dresses before I could find the one, that it would take many visits with my mother… a very looooong process which I would enjoy for months! Hahaha nothing happened like that lol!! I was with my friend just hanging around when we saw the store and went there just to see the styles and so. And after trying 1 or 2 dresses, I found it, just like that!! THE ONE!! I went to my house to pick up my mother and we came back to the store to buy it! I remember it was one of the happiest days of my life, I wrote a letter to my fiancé to let him know how he always makes my dreams come true (I just love him sooooooo much!)

But the thing is that when I realized that:
- I bought the 2nd dress I tried on
- I wasn’t even looking for my dress
- And most of all that my search was over in about 1 hour!!
Well it seems like something was missing… that was when a new idea crossed my mind, why not try more dresses on? I mean, really, why not? Last weekend I went to another store just to try some dresses on! JUST TO ENJOY IT!! (of course I didnt say that I already have mine) ;) I know there is a risk that I could find something that I like more, I HOPE NOT!!! I really don’t think that will happen becasue I LOOOOOOOVE MY DRESS!! It was so much fun! one more thing off the bucket list!

If I had to chose 2 themes for my wedding, they would be RED (of course) and LIGHT!!!

I have a very clear idea of what I want! A soft, warm light with many many candles!

First I didn’t know very well where to put them, but after some research I know, its easy...they will be everywhere!, at the tables somehow with the centerpieces, (we will have light under the tables), at the second floor, and the most important: hanging from the ceiling at different heights inside crystal bubbles.

I think that gives an extra spark and a romantic touch to the place. I hope my wedding organizer at the can help me with that!!!

Lets go antique!

Since I was a child I dreamed with a “fairy tale carriage” that would bring me to the wedding, well I changed my mind a bit…

But I still want something special and since the wedding is surrounded by an antique atmosphere - starting with the location (Mexico City Historic Center), the music and everything else - why not use an antique car?!

We choose a 1905 for me and my father and a convertible MG for the groom and his best man... I love the concept!

And of course... they are red!

I just wanted to share these pictures of my brothers green wedding!!! He got married last month and it was the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to!! It was a Christian ceremony and the reception was a modern, green, minimalistic atmosphere, with glass tables, flowers and lightening everywhere! They looked soooo happy together. .. I’m very excited that we are getting married the same year, that’s helping me to get some ideas and some discounts with our music provider… we will have the same one.

Our concepts are very different, but I’m sure that EVERY WEDDING HAS ITS OWN MAGIC!

The ceremony is for me the key part of the wedding, the most important, sweet and “formal” one… but after that comes the BIG party and I expect to have a LOT of fun!!!

I love the shoes I choose, but I have to confess that they are not comfortable at all. Therefore I decided to change them when I get too foot tired... and put my RED CONVERSE on!!!

Nobody will see them and if they do, I think it’s a funny/cute detail that will provoke them a big smile. After all, the bride can do anything on her big day… can´t she?! lol

By the way... my brother already gave me my converse as a gift!! I love them! and I do not plan on wearing them until that day.

When I started planning my wedding, I was very excited about making many things by myself, but as the date approaches I see that it is not as easy and fast as I thought!!!!!

I’m still very excited about that but now I’m trying to be more realistic about the time and the costs of making them myself. I already bought some red and ivory paper, and I’ve made 4 different projects that I love!!!

Well I love candles, lights; warm… therefore I was thinking about adding a lamp or something to my flower /candle centerpieces. But I’m not sure yet because my boyfriend wants something more natural and simple… Here are some ideas that will help me decide.
