Just for fun! - Do you keep looking for dresses even when you already have yours?

I found a dress online, loved it, went to try it on, loved it, ordered it and I'm done. I will not be looking any more.

hahaha no u are not crazy. I do it too! I just like to see what is out there. I ended up buying the first dress I tried on. Not on the spot, I tried on loads more after that, bought a different one (that is now currently being sold on consignmnet..see blog) my FI saw it, didn't like it, and so I went and bought that first dress.

Don't. You could end up with two. I did.

I looked for dresses at only two stores, found the one i wanted at the second store and have lot regretted or looked longingly at any other dress. I have the DRESS

I feel ya. I was peeking around at other dresses and now I want another one! Ha

I dont have my dress yet. But I would say dont do it I've read post of people selling their "dream" dress just becouse they found a better one!

My dress shopping was easy too - only went to three stores over the course of a month and I thought I had a dress picked out, went back a week later and tried on a dress on a whim and ended up loving it and buying it off the rack that day (because the designer no longer makes it). My wedding is still over a year away so of course I wondered if I did the right thing by buying it early and doubted it and thought I should go look elsewhere. While I haven't shopped, I have looked at many a magazine and all I do is compare the dresses to mine and how much I like mine more. It could happen to you - shopping could make you love your dress even more and appreciate why you love it as much as you do :-)

yep, you're not alone. i really had a certain dress in mind, went with the opposite, & loved the dress, plus the reactions i had in the dress from my "audience". i figured that would seal the deal as i walked down the aisle. as confident & pleased as i was with swiping my card after trying on less than 3 dresses, I started seeing more dresses mons later, not even trying to notice them, & then started feeling like returning mine! i would even "peek" in other boutiques "just for fun", & had no business getting myself all uncertain for no reason. all i can say is that you went with your gut for a reason. that pic you have posted is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous, & i believe that the bride can make the dress beautiful. ive seen brides in a white summer dress, but her demeanor, & overall beauty sets it off. just keep in mind the pleasure, excitement & love you had when you found your dress, & be reassured that you didnt make any mistakes. when your fi sees you in it, you'll know you made the right choice.

and then, sometimes it's just fun to go try on more. if you can keep your "faithfulness" to your dress, i say do it, & just enjoy it! you might be able to make better recommendations to the next person who goes to try on gowns! you'll be a pro :)

I chose the first dress I ever tried on. I immidiately knew it was the one for me. I won't be looking for anymore dresses.
I will however start looking with my girls for their bridesmaids dresses next month! Yay!
