I like # 2 b/c you can put a red ribbon around it. the first one is nice too but it looks extra expensive. Hey did you know that fondont cakes are more expensive?
Totally go with #1 if you're looking for uniqueness! That's the one I would choose--mine will look really similar, but I wish I saw this picture first, I love the look of the folded sides on the packages!
Hey I told U I love the cake and forgot to put the # - # 1 is my pick- but apparantley the groom likes #2....(That was pretty funny, I'm glad he got a vote)
they are both nice cakes but my opinion one is extreme left (2) and the other extreme right (1) what I mean by that is #2 is simple and conservative still classy though and #1 looks at little bit more extravagant (ball room type) I can't think of the word I really want to use --- elegant - but if I had to chose believe it or not I would chose #1.
From looking at your post - you like unique and have very good taste - I've looked at your blog a few times. I think #1 is for more romantic. These little flowers on vines are "the thing" right now. #1 is beautiful if you can afford it, go for it!
Lighting is my most important element at my reception! It's in my centerpieces, I have 108 votives, 2 hurricane shades with rose petals and candles, 2 glass candleabras, and lots of glass candle stick holders. We are going sentimental with our cake, pics of our grandparents wedding day on the bottom, then our parents, then a bunch of us. I love black and white photography - and as long as the groom gets his choice of chocolate cake with choc filling for 2 layers - he's happy. My 2 chosen layers will be white with strawberry filling. yummy! Best of luck. I have 2 more weeks!
I like #2 and I've seen some absolutely gorgeous cherry blossom cakes if this is the look that you're going for. You could simply make the black ribbons red to fit with your color scheme, and add a touch of pink to the cherry blossoms to make them stand out a little bit more and make them look more realistic. I would suggest doing a google search of "cherry blossom wedding cakes" (search under images, not web) and you will find some very beautiful cakes similar to #2 and you might even find some that you like more than either one of these lol!!
iam going to say i like 1 cause its different just dont liek the bow on the top of it
Until now we have
#1 : 15 votes
#2 : 21 votes
We have one more week to decide... I guess #2 is winning
I must say that "maybe" i like #1 better but the groom voted...
