Is anyone getting their Groom a gift on your big day?
If so, what are you getting him?
My guy doesn't wear watches and thats the only gift I can think to give. We already live together, and he has everything.
He is a real man's man, he would be THRILLED with the latest power tool. Not very romantic.
I REALLLY want to do Boudior Photos for him, but I don't think I am confident enough :P
think of something unique to him..Look around his place or choose a hobby that he has interest in and buy something related to that.
I'm a photographer and wanted boudoir photos SO bad but I was uncomfortable, too. I thought about it though and realized it was REALLY something I wanted. lol. So I'm having my best friend take them for me. I'll probably direct her a little, but she has a lot of creative talent herself. If you can get over the discomfort ahead of time I bet you would feel SO much more comfortable after you are there and in the midst of it. You'd be surprised how a photographer can make you feel as ease. Especially if you can find a female photog. :)
Even without the bourdoir photos you can do what I'm doing. I'm making a book with romantic poems and quotes and things I love about him, etc... so you can do that with pretty pics or like a scrapbook or pics of the two of you or just you, but with more clothes on. :) Just an idea... good luck!
Do you have children? Plan to? I've seen where a bride gave her groom a pair of his favorite sneaks along with pink or blue booties that she promised to fill. I thought it was the sweetest!
I see a lot of ladies are thinking about the boudoir photos. I was wondering though, when do you plan to give him this gift? In the past, I have seen many brides give the best man the gift that was intended for their FH on the day of. Personally, I planned to send his gift via his best man granted that it was a watch or something of that sort. We don't plan to see each other before the ceremony. BUT I would love to do something like photos for him, but I don't want to feel awkward about giving them to someone else to give to him!!! Please ladies..can you share how you will orchestrate giving him the photos before the wedding??
dirtndiamonds - girl what can you NOT do? Also, man fiance who works at Nordstrom?! DANGER!
soon2bmrsw, I may steal that bootie idea. Mark wants nothing more than to be a dad. That would be an amazing addition to his gift! THANKS!
really didn't know what to get him, but I am settling for a watch its sensible, timeless and I know he will never replace it lol, so its gonna stand the test of time, and sooner or later he will need a watch!
