Anyone else keep saying "I" instead of "We"?
I just noticed while reading some of my earlier posts, that I kept on saying things like, "I've decided to use..." or "I've decided on my theme". What struck me about this, is that my fiance has had just as much involvement in the wedding process, although he's in Iraq, as I have. Everything has been a joint decision. So from here on out, I will try to say "we decided" or "we are having". It's going to be hard but it's no longer just me in the this world....We're a team and a "we".!!!

Just thought the pic was funny but you get the point.

ha ha - ya, my fiance is always catching me on that and I feel bad even though he is joking. It is a good philosophy that you have, I need to get used to this "we" idea! :)

This made me go back and look at some of my posts....umm could I BE any more guilty of this...every other sentence starts with I WANT. My FI is very involved and I send him emails with all the ideas as soon as I find stuff to get his input and brain storm together. I guess this is "my" blog so i use I but typically when speaking about the wedding or us to people I use WE. Just today when responding to a party invite I wrote back and said I'll let you know if WE can make it :)

Don't feel too bad. I think WE are all mostly guilty of it.  Mainly because you are sitting by yourself at the computer when you are typing your blog.

BTW, It's great that he has so much involvement in the wedding process even though he is so far away.  My FH lives 30 minutes from me and I doubt he could tell you our colors.... haha.

So congrats and good luck on the "we" talk!!!

i'm on the same page as natalie...matthew is supportive but probably knows just enough info to show up on the day of our wedding.  i think it has to do with the fact that i have become overly picky about this whole ordeal and he's convinced it's better to let me do whatever i want than cross me.  he's a smart boy and that's why i love him :)

I go back and forth from saying "I" and "we," and sometimes when I say "we" I mean, my mom, my maid of honor, and myself.  Sometimes, it also means my fiance and me, but honestly, my fiance doesn't want that much to do with the wedding planning.  He'll give me an opinion if I ask him, and he helps out with things, but he is not picky AT ALL and just wants things to be easy and what makes me happy (oh, and what is affordable as well!)
