Colours
A few colour schemes I have had in mind
My collages - I'm continuing to play with different colour schemes. May end up with some combination of two accent colours. I apologize for any blurry quality in these collages, I threw them together pretty fast. I love all of these colours!

For what it's worth, I prefer the idea of gold and brown.  But, if you can develop a scheme that has symbolism for you as a couple in some way, the decision could become much easier.  We played off the colours in our college crest (www.sid.cam.ac.uk).  Once you have this decision made, you'll be amazed at how many things will fall into place, the less options the better for making quick and painless decisions (that would be my best counter argument to the idea of two accent colours).  Good luck.

Thanks for your comment Natalie!  You're right, that's an excellent way of looking at it.  I need to stop just trying to picture them, because they all look great and could work.  :)

I know how hard it is to choose a color. I bought Martha Stewart's collectors magazine "The Magic of Color" and it helped me visualize everything better, plus Googling for weddings in particular colors. Ultimately I decided on a very pale pink and an accent color of black. Once the color is chosen you can begin to make all the other decisions. My favorite of your choices was the fuscia and brown. It's fun and beautiful at the same time. And they go together so wonderfully! I almost want to change my colors now!! Good luck and let us know what you decided!

From a purely look-see point of view, I'll let the asian in me come out and vote for the red/brown or pink/brown combo.  There's just something about the red that's so striking -  very hot! (it could of course just be the conditioning that I've had as a kid to say this).

Hot color cobmo now.

Good luck any of the ones you post are bright and beautiful.
